Or instead of taking it as a sympathy ploy we can look at it deeper and see what Mishti is going through and what this is doing to her. Kids in this situation generally will be angry and they will act out. Most likely for a long period of type. This type of anger sometimes is carried into adulthood. So as terrible as her action was I am glad it happened. Maybe now the adults, and the fans will take her feelings seriously. You can't just give her a new Popsie and pretend she will get over her father abandonment issues.
