Silsila often reminds me of bajirao mastani..though the setup and period were different, the basic plot was the same. . I strongly disliked the character mastani, mainly because of the convo she has with kashibai justifying her love for bajirao to be specific.. but my question is ..does mastani get so much hatred like how nandini is getting? I am not sure...there are differences in the situation but still there is a high degree of similarity...but kashi didn't go running behind bajirao. .she herself distances him from her, though not an easy move..
Here mauli too was shown like that initially..but for the past few days everything has changed..she is shown to be so desperate for him, while she was the one who initiated the divorce..she said she could bring up her kid all alone without kunal, so if at all he returns, it should be for her..now there is a 360 degree turn. .don't know what the writers are exactly upto..anyway i see people getting too negative ..yes the show is quite controversial but people are going to such an extent that they are bashing anything and everything.
..i don't comment much here but whenever i open a post to read, i get to see the over usage of the word "white wash" ..like seriously..kuch aur synonyms use kiya karo yaar 😆 and since kunal and nandini are at the receiving end, all their dialogues are dissected and bashed. .for eg., mauli, a gynac, asks the doc who checked her .."are you sure? How is it possible? I was on protection" and the doc then explains how protection could fail also. .now kunal, a child specialist comes and asks his wife "mauli are you sure? We were on family planning! " now everyone including his mom radhika fires him saying "tu doc hai tujhe nahi pata ki yeh sab fail bhi hojate hain" anyway... I feel mauli was never meant to be pregnant. .cvs would have planned to make nandini pregnant so that situation can worsen further. .but again daily soap writing keeps changing every now and then depending on trps..so they reversed the situation trying to control the damage..but how.. is to be seen..
All viewers cannot be satisfied. .because some want kunal nandini, some want mauli and kunal, some don't want kunal to be with both nandini and mauli, some want kunal nandini so that they suffer...so all cannot be satisfied. .there will always be a set of unhappy viewers who will continue bashing even if any of the above option happens...
Anyway..reading this, i might be concluded as a kunan fan or a drashti fan or a shakti fan 😆
