Moral of the story - Nandini tried so hard staying away from Kunal for Mauli, she tried to hurt him, she tried to look bad in front of him but Kunal didn't leave her, it's not her fault if they love each other so...
This is whitewashing, blame on Kunal-Mauli and white paint on Nandini..
Nandini is always going to be a grey character and her choices are going to switch from black to white mainly because of her relationship with Kunal . So as her choices change and she moves between love and friendship, people might sympathize with her or hate her. She is not a vamp nor is she a positive character and they will not turn her into one.
One might think that they are whitewashing her but that is not her role, nor their intention. The only whitewash character in this show is Mauli and the only black character is Rajdeep. K and N are grey character and their relationship is what makes them that.
I think with this whole kidnapping drama, either they will know about Mauli's pregnancy or Mauli will lose her baby. The track is separation, it is still separation. The only thing to see is which pair gets separated or if they keep all three separate. This drama is love, friendship and marriage and the show will keep revolving around these three factors. Audience was concentrating only on the marriage and thinking it is lust on the K/N side, hence they started showing the intensity of love between them and brought the focus back on the friendship because relationships is what this show in about.
The question is why would they want to whitewash Nandini. DD is not important enough to demand that and Rajdeep is not cheap for them to bring him in just for that reason. All the makers care about is story and the TRP and everything else is replaceable.
