Colors' popular show, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, has been one of the most controversial daily shows on the tube thanks to its plot. The daily features Drashti Dhami, Shakti Arora and Aditi Sharma as the primary characters. Drashti plays the housebreaker in the storyline. The show was trolled as the society is still not open to the idea of infidelity. The latest piece to be doing the rounds about the show was that will shut down by the month of December. BollywoodLife got in touch with the leading lady, Drashti, who plays Nandini on the show.

"We've not heard anything, and I don't think there's any such (thing) to be honest. There's nothing like that happening. (So) I don't want to comment anything as of now, the 33-year-old asserted. She went ahead to confirm that she, along with the other cast members, have not been informed about anything like that yet. "It's not going for sure! At least from our end, that is what we know. We would have been informed or else. Also, December is far! And we know how TV works. Drashti's previous show Madhubala was also rumored of shutting down, although he had a long run. "There have been (shutting) rumours for all my shows, Drashti rued.

On the other hand, when we contacted the male lead of the show, Shakti Arora, he, too, seemed unaware about the same. "I have no news about it. I don't know anything about it. I don't want to make assumptions or bring any thoughts in my mind right now. If it has to go it will go. (But) Nothing heard from the production house.

Aditi didn't revert to our calls and messages.

Well, now that the show's leads have spoken, it seems highly unlikely that the daily will shut shop. But then again we also know how unpredictable TV is!

A few months back there were rumours of the

show

'

Silsila

Badalte Rishton Ka' going off air. While it was dismissed as rumours at that point of time and the channel spokesperson clarified that there was no truth to it, again talks of the show going off air have emerged. While the show has a different storyline and it centres around extramarital affair, there are talks that viewers have not been able to connect with the storyline.

We asked the lead actor

Shakti Arora

and he denied that the show is going off air. He said, "Not at all. Our show is doing very well and in fact one of the episodes which aired last week registered the highest ratings. So, it is not true and I haven't heard anything about it. In fact, I am happy that I got to do such an interesting role of a man who is torn between two women and I am thoroughly enjoying it."

Shakti - silsila is not about ema
Same shakti few days later - silsila is going to show the complex relation between wife and attraction

Shakti has changed his statements more than kunal.

Drashti said - they came to me with 1 year script already made

Now in 6 months we can see how this show is struggling. I don't belive this actors at all.
