Main part of rant is in red. So feel free to skip if you want.

So i don't watch the show regularly because i hate the whole " other woman" concept. I hated the movie
'Bajirao mastani' for the same reason but after the uproar on twitter against Kunal and Nandini i wanted to give my two cents.

First of all i am not justifying their act or EMA's in general. I hate what mauli's condition has come too and i hate Kunal and Nandini for doing this to her BUT why is most uproar against Nandin? Why is the opinion so biased with Kunal. Just because you like how mauli and Kunal look together?
Infact i think Kunal is more at fault because i believe Nandini is psychologically unstable and who wouldn't be after living with Rajdeep? I feel like even if she had gotten kidnapped and the guy cared for her she'd develop stockholm syndrome. Does that make her the victim or act justified? No!

Coming to Kunal , the perfectly sane man who should have had enough wit being a doctor to not make his wife go through the humiliation she had to. If he was so " in love" with Nandini he should have had the decency to divorce Mauli first.

And even when psycholocally unstable Nandini came to sense and decided to leave, Kunal stopped her with some melodrama knowing how emotional and vulnerable she is.

So, both are at fault. In my opinion kunal more than Nandini.

P.s: i hate what Kunal and Nandini did, but just for the record the society had NO RIGHT to cover her face with tar.

Yes agree. Both are at fault. But for me Kunal did more damage.

😲
SC- Mere adultery can't be a crime unless it's suicide case.
So, cheating a life partner is no more crime.

Ok, let's suppose Nandini came to her senses when she decided to leave the city, then what happened to her senses after that. Her senses never opened their eyes again after she said YES because of momentary lapse of judgement & weakness.
Kunal kept on feeding her words & the woman kept on listening to him without any question popping in her head during the whole time. She slept with him & still her senses remained absent.
If Kunal was leading her on then she was consenting to be led on with just one YES & no objection or question what so ever.
Kunal is at fault, but in my opinion Nandini is at little more fault for being so submissive even when she had managed to regain some part of independence & standing in her own life.
Decision to leave city is not some weak decision, it was very strong which means she had overcame her emotional vulnerability at that time, that means she was already on a stage where she could take such decision, but then what happened to that strength. How did the whole strength earned with so much hardship suddenly disappear completely?

Well, it was supposed to be stricken down since it was so biased. Of course legal remedy for such a thing is not going to do stop consensual extra-marital affairs.

Societal stigma with this whole thing still stands very real.

May be CVs take advantage through some dialogues, but as a new track can't get trp I think. coz it's morally wrong and this law will take time to sink in with the public.
