Dressing must be as per comfort & not a parameter to establish good & bad.
3. Never utters a word despite the taunts thrown to her. (Fortunately, this is changing a bit).
4. And the list goes on.

Most of these trends were set by EK, carried on by GK & then by other shows as well.

Sorry,I could not help myself, when I saw your list so wanted to add the stereotyping scenes:

1. Marriages stop at the mangalsutra and sindoor moment.
2. Girl/Boy is left at the altar but no sympathy for her as she is going to be the vamp
3. MIL/SIL plans murder of DIL.
4. H throws h out of the house multiple times but still she is trying to save his house and accepts him when he realizes her "sach"
5. and my favorite, coming back from the death.

Imagine if we start applying all this to our real life then what will happen?😆

the way people are hating this show , some are considering it worst than a crime , they have no issues with shows based on Rape , murders but have so much problem with this show . now people have started bashing Drashti and Shakti for playing these roles as if they are real life Kunal and Nandani . Do they bash movie villains for playing bad characters ? did they bash Abhinav for playing abusive husband ?

i was wondering why so much hate for this subject, why people are getting so touchy with this subject when it happens in our real lives . so often we see people cheat on in our real lives , people marry their wives's best friends , sister in laws and what not .

I think people are so touchy because they are insecure in their real lives . they don't want to face this problem , don't even want to see it in a tv show and want to live in their perfect la la land. May be this show reminds them that their husbands can cheat on them or as you said they will start cheating after watching this show .

so its their own real life insecurities and they are venting out on a show .

by closing our eyes , problems in our lives won't go away . By bashing a show , this cheating issue from the society won't get solved .

Is this a serious comment? Or you are just trolling?

Could you please tell me the good name of 'one' Indian show where they are showing rape and murder as noble act which have been blessed by God?

Why do we need to bash movie/show villains when they have been declared 'villains'? They won't present their crimes as holy act. Now, do you get the point? Rajdeep was an abusive husband, but there was no romantic music when he used rape/torture his wife, nor they presented violence is best way to show romance, nor they said that marital rape and domestic violence have been approved by God.

You won't even understand reason behind 'hate' for this subject. Don't even try. You won't get the 'simple' point that people don't hate the subject, they hate the execution and their way of presentation. You'll just choose the easiest and craziest theory- 'people will start cheating on their spouse taking inspiration from this show and that's what making them against this show'

Everything is happening in real life. Rape, murder, marital rape, domestic violence and many more social evil act. They should start glorification of everything. In fact this was a good opportunity to glorify domestic violence and marital rape. They should have played some romantic background music when Rajdeep used to rape Nadini OR physically assault her OR when he killed her child in womb AND God giving blessing to all pavitra kaand of Rajdeep would have played cherry on cake role. How romanticIt all happens in real life as well, nothin wrong to show them in positive light. Right?

@bold- I remember you made a post in bollywood forum criticising movie 'Raja ki ayegi baarat'. You were disappointed that concept of movie was 'Rape victim getting married with culprit'. What was the reason behind that? Was there any real life insecurity that made you vent out on a movie which was made in early 90s- an era when people used to believe Men are superior than women????? Just asking

Apart from all this I am amazed at the amount of plotting that happens in front of the family , and the amount of time and energy they dedicate to it ..like HOW are they so rich ? All that they are doing is plotting or getting fooled or being a spectator . No kaam daam except plotting ..

Are 50 shades of gray was the biggest bestseller. Bdsm is a real thing ppl seem to get a real kick out of this shit :P

But on a serious note most indian shows are problematic on so many levels. Misogynistic patriarchal unrealistic crap. No denying it. The only recent one I remember really enjoying is DEHLEEZ. That limited episodes show was so well done. Why can't they make more like it...

I find this funny actually that people think just getting someone to watch a TV serial on EMA means every one of them is going to cheat in real too . That would be mean all our trp aunties would be having affairs by now 😆 Really what logic is this

This is the most absurd logic I have heard..if this was true by every second man would be evil..movies always had this concept of good vs evil and good winning over evil is what stirs up the emotions in us..right from Ramayan mahabharat times..the change which is coming in our societies /movies/tv is the Gray zone of humans ..everyone has started depicting the Gray zone . We automatically look for reasons if people do something bad (there is hardly a movie which does not justify wrongs done by right people..like badlapur) ...the fact that perfectly good and the abused ones also can turn weak and betray In the worst form , is kind of Indigestible..

We kept looking for reasons in nandini and kunal also and mauli also ..the script has been such that everything was left to the imagination of the audience ..In a way it's different too so I have expectations from the makers ..honestly speaking I don't care much about the God angle but how the story is presented..I can identify more with mauli and feel for her so I look at it from.her pov..the romance off late and falling in love phase was cringeworthy and I didn't watch it ..but now I am watching it to see maulis journey ..and my feelings about the serial change with every episode ..if kunan are the endgame, I M not interested ..I wanna see how they suffer and how mauli ressurcuts herself ..

Those who watch it for chemistry have their reasons ..fandoms are free to watch and argue over silliest of things..those whose husband might cheat by watching silsila must change their husbands then the channel..

Baba hi tha..God himself didn't tell nandini that kunal is her destiny ? And whatever kunal say is not gods voice , so why rile up..let's be practical ..it's all their doing and God has no role to play..tomorrow if mauli asks kunal why did you cheat on me , can he give an excuse that God gave him hint ? When there were gods on this earth, supposedly, in those times also there was adharm..and through their stories, God gave us just one message that I am there , but people are responsible for their own karma, I am not responsible .

If cvs play deewana deewana it makes us cringe , that is their intention isn't it? Falling in love mein horror music they won't play ..whatever it is , it riles up our emotions ,this is their motive ..thse are small things..nothing to do with actual story telling which is btw horrible and actual reason for my hatred... In 2-3 weeks they showed the confessions consummation and revelation ..viewers lost connect ..and now if the don't handle maulis story maturely I am out ..if they show kunal and nandini as a happy couple then I will protest that they are glorifying ema

When i started my teens i used to get infuenced by mythological serials, bibles and fairy tales and would take decisions thinking how god wants things.
When things went wrong i used to think i did how it is written in bible or how mythogical shows teach.
Then i realised bible was written by someone hired by a king and those shows were done by directors and things said by some pandits.
No god said me to do this and that.
Its foolish.
But when you are young you get influenced.
I know many children died thinking Shaktimaan will rescue them.
Good doesnt wins over evil all the time.
There are mamy MILs who compare there babus with serial ki bahus.
There are guys who behave like Rk and Aenav in real life and think they are hot .

50 shades mixed bdsm with romance. Bdsm is a hard core stuff with no romance. That book and movie was shitty on so many levels.

Submission treated bdsm in much better way. 50 shades made me curious but it went blank from me head.
