Nandini's changing colours

The serial started with a woman brought up in a heavily patriarchal society where the husband is considered God and she was staying with him despite his assaults on her body, mind and heart. She was repeatedly humiliated but still wanted to keep the marriage.

She is an icchadhari chameleon...

But on a serious note jiggy it becomes increasingly difficult for me to sympathise with her character when she does not have an iota of sympathy/grace/ gratitude for the one she is literally alive because of...

Does the fact that you have been wronged give you the right to destroy anothers life?... And then theres that thing that she chose to ignore a grave charge as molestation because she thought Mauli was jealous...of what God knows...

I really thought that Nandini will have character, will try to control whatever f*** juzzbaat she feels because of Mauli, not because it woukd stem from gratitude but because she is her dearest friend, almost a sister...

But trust me this character leaves a bad taste in the moith whenever i think about it... What an absolutely despicable woman...

Kunaal chalo he is no human being at all... So i had zilch expectations from him...

And the whole waterworks thing is just so annoying about Nandini...

And yes she is not grey she is poora black...like the stygian night...

She has been abused...

But will Mauli not go through mental abuse and torture! Just because her wounds wont show and hopefully staying true to her character she wont start bawling at the smallest pretext her trauma will be downplayed...

I would have liked to see what opinion people qould have if Mauli slept with the first man she met after the betrayal...with the husband of someone who would probably save her from an fatal accident...

I remember she cried buckets when R wanted to sleep with a other woman even though she doesn't like him but she is herself sleeping with another man.

Her husband slept with a prostitute she was crying as if poor wife
Prostitute was there for money offering her service any ways !

If you look at this from psychology perspective it makes total sense - Nandini craves male approval. I think or am assuming that majority of this forum members come from a happy home where they were cared for and nurtured and given the confidence that it is okay to be alone. Nandini never had that. From what I gathered and please correct me if I am wrong her dad was never complimentary towards her and her mum was a mousy woman. She never got any male approval and latched on to Mauli whose family life was perfect.

Then Nandini married Rajdeep and thought she would get approval there but it was a fail too. She never had any confidence and that's why she was in awe of Mauli who is very confident. When kunal started showing attention she finally got that male approval that she was craving. I am looking at this clinically - in normal cases I guarantee every single person here would maintain their distance when a married man starts showing attention but she gravitated towards him. Then he said few more dialogues and that was it.

Her only thing I am not able to understand is that sexual abuse victims never crave sex - however, to please their partner they will give in. I didn't not see hesitation in Nandini as she appears to enjoy it too and that's the horrible execution of the scene.

I am blaming Nandini for breaking her only friends trust but if I were to put my Psychiatrist hat then her behaviour makes total sense. Do I approve that? NO AND NO but I can understand that. Here the only person to blame is kunal who as a doctor should know that. If he has gone to medical school and completed his papers then this is so f****g obvious.

Nandini needs therapy badly - I would even recommend hypnosis to treat her past trauma.
