@bold -- these are fillers. unfortunately, indian television does not do short serials like they used to long ago. when serials are shorter, they can cut out unnecessary fillers and just get to the heart of what they are trying to convey. they don't have to drag anything out. since this is a regular serial with some X number of episodes, they have to stretch a fairly simple story. so how else to make it more complicated if they are not going down a revenge angle? so they add all these layers...
