They both leave their partners and get married .

And surprise ...Saavi had a lot of fan following ...and it was 20 years back . Hasratein is considered one of the best show on Indian TV .

But now , when people have become so called more modern but actually they haven't , they just want to watch same saas Bahu with Pallu ( oh then they complain too but still they don't accept different concepts 😆 )

Almost , almost everyone panicked as soon as they got know that Silsila is about EMA . As if it doesn't happen in real life and everyone is saint in real life. "How can they show EMA" Moral policing start ho gayi . People are having issues that how can someone like Nandani 😆 .

Ahhh people 20 years back were more acceptable to such concepts and modern to accept such stories .

Do you really think the forum members have no access to youtube and other sites where negative human instincts like jealousy, hatred, plotting, cheating, murders, kidnappings, rev enge, selfishness etc are shown or they only watch serials day in and day out??
There are many series and serials where the story is potrayed from a negative person's POV or the leads are even completely negative..
But nowhere people blame all their mistakes on God and destiny.. They simply show we are doing mistakes because as humans we are prone to negative human instincts and thatswhy do something even after knowing its wrong...

Just because someone points out the wrongdoings of a character he/she doesn't stop being a fan of the character.. Being a fan simply means noticing the positives and negatives of a character keenly...

Cheating and EMAs are present in the society since time immemorial and will remain in future as well.. They were criticised yesterday, are criticised today and will be criticised in future.. Modernity nowhere requires accepting cheating/EMA..

No one has an issue how can someone like Nandini but many have an issue HOW CAN SOMEONE LIKE NANDINI WHILE HAVING MAULI AND WITHOUT ANY SOLID BUILD-UP...

The execution of the show is extremely frivolous! The team seems to be making no effort to justify what is being shown! If you were going to make a show on a sensitive subject like Extra marital affair, you gotta present it in a proper way. If you were planning to show candyfloss romance then why bring in a sensitive subject and make a kachra out of it.
I honestly dislike all the 3 characters in the show. And Kunal's has to be the most shabbily written character ever on TV. There's no denial that affairs dont happen but people just dont get attracted to someone without a reason.. Till date, the makers have made no effort in explaining why Kunal fell for Nandini. You can still make some sense out of why Nandini is drawn towards Kunal but Kunal is just a weird character!

Not sure any progressive vs Regressive Concept but I don't mind nandini kunal together .What I don't find OK is whitewashing the leads and painting them as pure souls. Show them as grey characters, who know they r doing wrong , yet they r indulging in affair coz they want to be together. Simple.
Just bcz someone is married, u can't stop your feelings .But Don't paint them as goody goody coz Good people don't go around decieving their wife or Falling for Best friends husband!

LMAO, so just because she was forced by her father to get married to another man, she gets the free pass to sleep around with her boyfriend and also have a baby out of this illicit relationship?👏Different rules for different people as per your convenience isn't it?😆 Sleeping around with boyfriend while being married to her husband that too a gem of a person, doesn't make a woman gutsy it shows she is shameless.

So, if nandini and kunal are being called as characterless by the same logic you people have applied Vividha and Atharv are also shameless for sleeping around and having an illicit child😛.

Had no intention to reply to this post, but this particular comment and the lame logic cracked me up😆😆

Ohh well, Vividha did not sleep around with Atharva, she was separated from her husband and her husband had freed her from their marriage publicly, she was not physically and emotionally married to Ravish EVER, so how can you call her physical relationship with Atharva as something even close to cheating ? Yes she is shameless to walk out of a marriage and claim that she wants to go back to the man to whom she was getting married and he was almost killed in his wedding altar, if she would be with Ravish then that would be cheating and not the other way round.

Coming back to kunal, kunal loved mauli and now he loves nandini, kunal was not threatened to marry mauli whereas vividha was threatened to marry Ravish, Kunal and Mauli had a successful marriage where they had conjugal relationship, vividha told Ravish about her affair with Atharva after few days of her marriage and ensured that she will go back to Atharva, Kunal and vividha cannot be compared, it is indeed a shame actually.

Kunal has exactly no reason to leave his wife and go to nandini, Vividha had no reason to stay with Ravish and let go Atharva, the stories were completely different. On top of that, Nandini is a victim of domestic abuse but she has no fear, trauma or even hesitance about her past life, indeed she is busy falling for someone else's husband, someone who saved her from abuse, pain and a traumatized life. Well done CVs, this is progressive and modern I guess 😆

To all the progressive people who call the others as regressive, Kunal sweared his love on all holy books and mind I tell you, adultert is a crime punishable by death in the very same holy books.
Have the guts to this raw subject without using God to say oh, it's so pure. There is a reason why EMA in media are reported as scandulous affairs, because they are scandulous, don't we accept them, we do, we call them wrong and accept.

Is it that hard to understand. Support the actor all one wants to but what's the point of justification Of characters which aren't. Actors are doing great job and it has been said out loud a zillion times but characters are poorly written and so are the dialogs of this show.

Wasn't Maya in Beyhadh pointed out on being a murderer. No one said she is right and shouldn't be punished for all the crimes she did, even though she was a much better written character, she was pointed out on cheating Arjun byvsleep ing with other man and that woman gloriously accepted all her wrobg doings without sayibg God is doing this to me. Even Saanjh was pointed out on poking her nose in Arya's married life continuously.

Get the difference. Story and its development makes any show hit, especially in such concepts. Actors play a part in moving the story ahead.

Nopes, Kt's wife hated Saavi and even warned her to stay away from KT. She didn't like their friendship too.

But As I said, anything for an argument and suppport a character that is wrong.

Hasratein was a far more superior show than this lousy show. Saavi and KT's marriages were already failing when they fell for each other. I remember Saavi was a successful career woman with a resentful husband. KT and she were equals in work. Here Nandini went from an abusive relation directly into the armsof a spineless man. The man who could not get enough of his doctor wife in the first few episodes is now all over his wife's bf. they have showed no growth in character of Nandini. She didn't get a job, always moping around. Worse they have shown Mauli feeling guilty about working and not giving time to her husband. The audience is not regressive it's the way the content is handled that's regressive.
