The truth they are trying to hide, finds way to express itself in those short sentences. They could have talked about many things but the separation and feeling of loss doesn't allow them to. Silence snatch their voice. Feelings leave them dejected and broken.

An angry and hurt Kunal doesn't hide his disappointment. Nandini did grasp his pain and therefore she tries her best to CALM his restless mind by stating Reason. Kunal is frustrated and troubled lines form on his face. Doesn't seem like Kunal has welcomed her EXPLANATION. Nothing- no amount of words from Nandini could pacify him or give him peace. Unshed tears glisten in his big black eyes while they meet with Nandini's beautiful umber ones. Both pair of eyes, intense and grief stricken, stare at one another to live their life in that one moment. They cherish this personal moment which is their last in the house and which takes them away from all worldly ties.

But the pain of being unable to prohibit Nandini's departure, pushes Kunal away. Heartbroken and miserable, he leaves breaking the invisible bond unable to bear the ache.

Nandini sheds silent tears, for her heart could well sympathize with Kunal's agony and she feels it deep inside her. But helpless; she can do nothing but cry.

Nandini bids an emotional farewell to everyone including Deeda. Kunal is the only person who doesn't show up. He is angry and the deep loss of allowing Nandini to slip away, impacts him so much that he denies to be a part of the good bye. Nandini does know it but her eyes keep searching him.

Nandini on her way out takes every part of the home with her. Her eyes never leave the corners as Mauli n Nandini leave the appartment together.

Mauli helps Nandini with Griha Pravesh. They both enjoy the moment and their special friendship tie brings them further close.

Rajdeep is back with his filthy mind. But not every person is ready to be sold. The caretaker denies Rajdeep but a Fox like him finds his own way. I am sure he had preplanned something but another presence in the flat makes him take his step back and he leaves.

At home Kunal's change of heart effects Mauli deeply. Mauli does realise that SOMETHING is amiss in Kunal. She notices his unmindful look and his deep troubled eyes.

Kunal is agitated and forlorn. Post Nandini's departure it has become difficult for him to accept the vacant space left behind. He is constantly fighting and though Mauli cannot understand his state but she could see there is definitely something that is disturbing Kunal. I am sure now Mauli will try to know what it is.

Precap seems interesting. I wonder whether Mauli will truly know what is in Kunal's heart. Nandini looks pale. Poor her.

Kunal and Mauli

So as suspected, Kunal apologizes to Mauli for his behavior in the morning. He tells her that he was angry on something else and he took the anger out on her. She believes him not realizing that his anger is more personal rather than professional. Mauli knows that there is something wrong with Kunal and she wants to get her relationship back to the normal footing. She tries to rekindle it with their old tradition of "Green tea". Mauli is happy thinking that things are lovey dovey in her relationship and nothing is amiss not realizing the storm that is brewing in Kunal and that he is doing it out of a sense of duty towards her.

Kunal and Nandini

It's the last night before the separation. Kunal and Nandini both are restless but ironically both are looking at the same sky reminiscing about their last memories. He wants to go to her but the hurt and anger towards her, for taking the steps to prepone the departure stops him. Finally, giving up, he walks out of the room to find her waiting for him. When he comes to her, she gives a small smile as if her belief, her confirmation, he will come to her has been fulfilled, her wait is over. She knows he is angry at her for calling the electrician and its not sitting well with him. She decided to face the brunt and tell him that I did what I did as I think its best for everybody. Kunal tell her "Jaisa chahe karo" These three words bring out all the pain, anger and hurt that he is feeling.

I just want to point out the contrast here. In the morning, he was so loud with Mauli, he said so many words but he could not convey his real frustration or pain. In the night with just three words he conveyes everything and she understands. She tells him that its not her wish but a necessity and he knows that this is the right step.

I feel Kunal knows that this is the right step, but the fear of letting her go is overwhelming him. Taking his silence as the confirmation that he agrees with her decision, she asks him to be her pillar of strength when she leaves him, when they break their unspoken relationship and this is where all her beliefs that this was a joint decision comes crashing down on her because Kunal refuses. He tells her that its not going to happen, I will not be your strength when you are walking out of my life and breaking my heart. I agreed to give you the physical distance (different house) and that promise is breaking me , but I will never agree for the emotional distance that you are now demanding. I cannot be there and I will never be there. You decided to walk away and that is your decision but I will not be part of this path that you want to walk on. You can go to your new house but not from my heart.

I guess this is the moment Nandini realizes the enormity of her decision. She realizes the pain she is putting him through, the storm within him and now its inside her and she breaks down because by safeguarding Mauli happiness, she is hurting Kunal and her own self. Sometimes its easy to take the right decision but so difficult to fulfill it especially when your heart is breaking.

I just want to point out that they have used silences and expression so well in this show. I was first very impressed with all expressions that passed on Kunal's face when Nandini hugged him the first time,. His happiness that his feelings are reciprocated, his realization that it is wrong, then his decision that he will choose Mauli but then giving up when he see Nandini's tears. The small nod between Nandini and Kunal at the end when they first visit the house.

Today the small smile on Nandini face when Kunal comes to stand next to her, the one on Mauli's face conveying that she is now happy that everything is again right in her world. I would say it fab job been done by the all actors and directors because conveying messages with silence and expression is the ultimate test of an actor.

But I beg to differ on one part. Please understand I'm just stating my views, not trying to criticize your writeup.

The part where you mentioned Kunal agreed to give the physical distance, I see it from a different perspective . Kunal may have wanted to be close to Nandini physically in his subconscious mind but consciously he has never craved for Nandini physically. Kunal had always known he has a wife and so he has tried to maintain that distance everytime. If you remember when Nandini hugged him he didn't put his hand back on her to embrace. Besides it's the emotional bond they share that is more than physical attraction so the distance is not killing him rather the thing that he cnt express his Love openly and and give her company is killing him. And no matter how far they go the bond they have will never break. But yes Kunal wont be able to see her and that's breaking him inwardly.

And this is just my view as a viewer. I hope you didn't mind my mentioning it.
