Of course, love doesn't require a reason but I can still kind of understand why Nandini is falling for Kunal but there's no reason that I can think of for Kunal to fall for Nandini.
I am not justifying what is going to transpire between Nandini and Kunal. Nandini lead a miserable life for 7 years with Rajdeep. He didn't love her, respect her, cherish her and protect her. He emotionally and physically tortured her and made life hell for her. And then she met Dr. Kunal Malhotra. He was everything which Rajdeep wasn't. He saved her time and again, respected her and treated her with kindness and dignity. He gave her everything in a short span which she longed for years so it is very very understandable that she'll fall for him (Again, not justifying what's going to happen). But Kunal? I don't understand the reason behind his feelings, to be perfectly honest. The CVs have done a very shabby job laying the ground for Kunal's love. Usually, we look for something somewhere else if we don't get it where we are. Kunal has the perfect life with Mauli. She is loving, caring and they are more like best friends than anything else, which according to me is the most important thing in a relationship. Which is why, I can't fathom the sudden eruption of love from Kunal's side. If there was something lacking in Mauli and Kunal's relationship which Nandini provided instead, the CVs should've focused more on it.I think they've done a beyond brilliant job with Nandini and her realisation but a lot is left to be desired when it comes to Kunal's.
