Mauli relatable, Aditi FANTASTIC!

I just finished watching yesterday's episode and Mauli's plight with her mother was so real. How many times do young women have to hear these words? You need to be married by a certain age, you need to have kids by a certain age etc etc. These things are an annoyance anyway but when it comes from your own Mum in this way then it just hurts.

My heart went out for Mauli completely. She's a really happy, warm and compassionate human being. It's the first time she cried yesterday and Aditi played the scene out so well. Like I said elsewhere, she has an understated beauty in the way she portrays the role. Very natural and so realistic!

Lovely Post Reemz! Agree, it hurts. She has the natural aura and you can connect to her. Mouli is just beautiful. Aditi does a brilliant job and is highly versatile, her voice modulation too is great.

Thanks Madhura! I read somewhere she's done theatre too so that must help her, I had vaguely seen her in Zee cine stars but I was really young then. You're right, she's got this natural aura to her, a very realistic actress

That definitely will help her. Had seen few episodes of her earlier show and she was great there.

Mauli is the best character so far. Totally relatable and Aditi's portrayal is flawless. The character is such a darling she is working overtime so that his husband can fulfill his wish, without letting his husband feel awkward before anyone. Despite her anger towards nandini she still wishes everything in her life to be great and feels the sense of responsibility as a friend to save her. If a husband works overtime it is said that he is working so hard for family but if the wife does so she is being preached about duties of wife (that too from her own family,)she is threatened that her husband will have an ema. In reality it is because of mauli that he is able to live the way he want to if she wasn't working it would not have been easy for him to leave his job without any future plans.

Aww this is a great post Reemz. I love the bond Mauli shares with her family, be it hers or Kunal's. That's what I love about Mauli and Aditi's potrayal of Mauli. There is an easy camaraderie between them. Not fake at all. I especially loved the scenes when Kunal and Mauli were feeding food and making up. Everything about Aditi is pleasant to me. I have been binge watching her interviews and man I have to say I'm sad that I didn't discover her much earlier. She is so so so normal like you and me. Nothing about her that is hyper, fake and contrived. She is sweet and have only great things to say about her co stars. She is loveable both onscreen and offscreen. I can bet this girl winning more hearts and awards at the end of the day. Thank you for this post!

I'm liking the way they have shown Mauli's character and the issues she is dealing with in her life and marriage, which are all very realistic and relatable. And love Aditi's portrayal of Mauli!!

Such a common issue in our society isn't it? The women taking up extra work to keep things going is still not on the same level as a man doing the same. That imbalance stays! I think there's so many things she has to think about but she's a really positive person. Kunal is extremely supportive too! It'll be really sad to see their marriage break to be honest but I'm sure the emotions will be portrayed beautifully!

I'm starting to wish I saw her in Ganga. I'll catch her interviews, I saw two with DD & both men! They all seem to get on really well which is nice! But yeh, a very honest performance from her so far.

Yes... There are people who'll pull you down and it hurts even more when it's someone you love so much, Mauli's mother wants Mauli to help her brother and at the same time she doesn't want Mauli to work... Hypocrite

But it didn't bother me as much cause Kunal is so dreamy <3 he's an amazing husband... Mauli is as amazing as a wife, she has doubled her work to fulfill Kunal's dream...
