Why does it feel like they dumbed down Raja?

Raja at the start was a lot more clever and he could handle things on his own.

But now he's clueless in everything and Rani tells him what to do instead.

Also there still seems to be awkwardness between them both, the first few days after they got married before the lottery incident - Raja was the one who was romancing immediately. But now there's barely any romance.. why is it like this? I know the shows track is on getting raja to work but this track has changed his style of approach..

He is in beliefs that his wife has steal which she hasn't and after so much happened its definitely hard for them to come back as normal . Second raja is now became a clever and opening alot he wasn't that much open and rebellious before.

Talking about romance rani needs to tell her truth to raja only becoz they both have acted they knew about the things . And samne se agar koi itna meetha banega anyone will be manipulated !

Do you think we are getting to the point of the story now? Where Rani will be telling her truth?.. utsav has become a goon now so he has broken the promise he made to Rani.

No, I don't believe Raja is shown dumb now but infact I believe he was dumb before too.

Don't take me wrong he is clever and intelligent guy but when it comes to his mota papa he is dumb. Because he really could not see how he is being manipulated and how he and his mother are being treated. Yes I do understand how sweetly his extended family is fooling him. He is in belief his mota papa and moti mummi has best interest for him and his mother in their heart. Even his mother thoroughly beliefs her jethani is evil but her BIL is God. Because according to Asha it is her SIL who does not want Raja to get his rights when the truth is both husband and wife are evil.

Yes Asha herself is not good, at least from what they have shown but she also is right in worrying her son is not treated right. And thought if she gets rich DIL her son's life will improve which is further from truth. What she did not realise is even if she gets rich DIL her son's status still will not improve if the girl is not strong to voice out the treatment of her husband. Because said husband is busy being blind in the love of his mota papa.

This is where Rani comes. From third person view she can see the difference. She does not know the husband-wife duo are evil wishing to keep Raja suppressed and get everything in their name. But she could see the difference in how he is being treated and how wrong it is. Yes she feels Raja did not ask for his responsibilities. But the truth is for Raja it is nothing new since he never realised the difference his role in the shop and of his cousin's and uncle because for him he is doing the work given to him with dedication which we understand where the truth is how he is being deliberately not given an important role and was being made to be dependent on his uncle. Rani just pointed out the difference to him.

This is actually the USP of the show. How Rani and Raja changes each other perception in their life and how they fight against odds to a better, bright and good future.
