Reminiscing Shrimad Ramayan - A Year Long Journey - Page 3

So, here's my story of how my journey with Shrimad Ramayan started...

When I first saw the ad, it was towards the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024. I was sick at that time and wasn't really up for following another serial... Quite unlike me to let go of watching Ramayan... Later, I glanced at promos and ads in the passing, felt the pull but didn't watch them either. There were ads for the translated versions as well but didn't settle for watching them either...

More than half a year passed...

Somehow I ended up listening to the title track. That captured me into this serial. The visuals were beautiful and I thought I could check out a little bit... I was browsing through bits and I ended up watching the scene of Bharat's sorrow on Dasarath's passing. The scene tugged my heartstrings, especially when he was trying to convince Sumitra and Kaushalya, and I decided to watch the series. When I was checking out bits of the series, the story was near Sita's kidnapping. I guess I started following the series at about this time.

First impression: visuals were awesome, music was amazing and the the actors were quite good.

By the way, I ended up watching the series in multiple languages... (I know, ,I am crazy >.<)

How about you all? Anyone watching it in more than one language?

Congratulations to the entire team for completing one successful year

For the first few months this show was actually good and mostly accurate.

I watched the show from first episode itself just to give a try but Sujay's entry episode made me hooked to it.

LOL! I've been reading the thread makers username as Bibhishan all this while

I started watching the show from the very first episode, I was in India at the time. It was really good till the Ram mandir inauguration. There was a completely different vibe due to the mandir too at the time.

It started going downhill from the wedding track. Until then, the troll inside me was patient, but the wedding track dragged and dragged and the troll beat me and unleashed itself

Rest, as they say, is history After the vanvaas kaand started, the troll has been having a field day!

P.S. I'm not watching the show anymore. Sometimes, I watch Prachi's clips exclusively for some comic relief!

But I guess PPL wanted it.

I was waiting for vanvas start as all action started from there.

Rest as u know comedy show started

But ever since uttar ramayan started its full fledged comedy show with Harry Potter adventures 😂

i love seeing mythological discovery shows so i got a video recomendation on youtube..... but it was not on sony liv but it came by 20jan so from then

i liked watching it.. it was a grand set and ofc i got to know some new things and sujay ki acting was just cherry on top
