The new one grows on you. Of course , we now know Shakhi’s journey , we know their song. But knowing the effort and dedication that the whole team put into making this, how can one not love it! 😍
It has an infectious energy about it thanks to those foot tapping beats . Gives it almost like a “don’t worry be Happy” kinda happy, peppy vibe 😀

So yeah, I’m so glad that both are awesome in their own way!

This is what struck me, it is so Deba....

Agree with this...when i heard deba singing the sing without music i liked it more than this Mv version... original k sth mein compare i nhi karungi, it was magical.....In the mv i loved Kv's poetry nd some parts of the music bt felt overall song took away from the essence of the original one

Bt ya i can keep listening the song again nd again coz of Kv's poetry nd how beautifully it was integrated nd ofcourse shakhi's chemistry....the ending of the song where the flute plays nd shaurya kisses anokhi was the best moment for me in the overall vid

@bold, For me the poetry enhanced the song and gave it the romanticism...

I honestly think both have their own beauty! When I listened to it the first time the auto tune hit me as I was so used to listening to the original. But I still liked it because it was fast and peppy! And after a couple of times on loop...you understand the complete beauty of the song. So I toh love the song now! ❤️❤️

I think the idea was to make the song her own..hence the changes. Honestly...the fast paced rhythm is one of the things I love the most.

Yes both versions have their own beauty. Unfortunately I am not that well versed to recognise auto tune, what I liked though in the new version is the beat of the song and the continuity and of course the poem by KV. His voice, the deep baritone soothes whilst Deba's version is all peppy and upbeat with optimism. Quite in contrast with the original version.

I liked the new version better than original, in between when the beats started I just fell in love with it, original singers also has little rustic voice so the Punjabi kind of style and the music and all it suited well. But Deba's is a dreamy voice she doesn't have the little roughness which will be there in rural punjabi songs so for her voice I felt this music is better...

the beauty of the original version lies in the voices whilst Deba's version is her personality in the song.

So glad people noticed the instruments that were used! I tweeted about the same to Vatsal too 😀She pointed out the Sarod twangs which I loved as well! Vatsal did a fab job on mixing and arranging the song. 🙌❤️

Like you I have no idea at all about auto tune, I also appreciate the way vatsal incorporated so many instruments and still kept the flow and atmosphere it required.

The original is very good but i loved the rhythm in this new version. 2.cherry on the cake was the poetry part in kvs voice. When the mv started it was bit slow but as soon as the beat started the whole song changed. For me it's awesome. 😍

Exactly, it changed the atmosphere and enhanced the love and romance inherent in the song.

I have forgot the no.of times I have heard the new version.....whereas honestly ,the original version didn't have much impact on me.It was so-so for me....nothing to go all fida for it!! I would never revisit the original one...but the new version is etched in me for a long time....for sure !!

Two things are a must for me the lyrics and the music compliment each other. For example Chunar is one such song it pulls my heart. Laal ishq is another, I need to feel like I do not want it to stop.

KV poem and the start of the song is enough for me, when Deba does the Ho Ho in the beginning I feel happy and cannot stop smiling...

Yup...the voices in the original version, the punjabi accent , the rustic touch , the music(dnt know if original instruments were used ) somehow lends the essence of inevitability which the lyrics express...that kind of intensity nd tranquility amidst chaos is what the new version lacks nd dats what got me rooted to the original song

I dnt know how gud i could explain 😆

I actually went back and listened to the original version, everything was perfect except the flow was missing. It looked like it was done in bits and pieces but both the voices (male and female) were simply awesome.

The new version is trying to maybe give an optimistic feel to Jo tera howega. The poem by KV brought it to another level.

Actually they didnt release the complete version of original one...it was playedin parts in the show nd what we hear in utube is the parts joined together...so naturally the flow is missing

unfortunately thats the case with all osts of serials..only in ishqbaaz nd krpkab have the total song uploaded in utube
