This episode what struck me, was Shaurya having memory lost after having been in the SM. he forgot Anokhi was locked from outside, he forgot Reema and Maya testifying against the brats. What was this hand stopping Anokhi. I admired the way stood silently listening to the diatribes of Shaurya and how her ragging and molestation has now changed into her planning to spoil the reputation of SIAC with the help of Aastha, Shaurya should be listening to himself to hear what a load of shit he was vomitting. I could have slapped him...The calm way Anokhi told him she did not call the press and her explanation of why she needed justice not just for herself but for any girl on campus was really good. At the end of the day, Anokhi was behaving as a \professor whilst Shaurya another spoilt brat. his reasoning that the press and Anokhi's interview had made Anokhi a victim and SIAC the culprit is analogous to saying nothing happened . At the SM Shaurya even questioned the girls and Gaytri also but as soon as Devi put in her version of Aastha being the instigator, every little bit of common sense that Shaurya had in him went out the window and he was now ready to battle Aastha by punishing Anokhi.

At the bhatia' no need to say how Vineet and his mum reacted. Babli did make a point that she believes Anokhi was right in pointing out any wrongdoings to her. But, Babli is the opposite when it comes to herself, she agrees all the taunts of her MIL and beatings of Vineet. is n't that wrong also?

Good that girls other than those in SIAC are encouraging Anokhi and gives her the support in fighting for justice. We need to know what she wants exactly by justice though?

The way Shaurya was reflecting in his room at night and the fac that Shaan came and cared for the fact that Shaurya needed to eat something meant a lot tp Shaurya as despite the latter siding with anokhi, Shaan also cares for him.

the way AA calls Reema and maya cuttlery was funny, though rude of course and the way Anokhi came to Reema's rescue was impactful enough for Shaurya to start thinking...Of course for him it is all about SIAC though.

Sidenote: what is the problem with Aastha, She likes lecturing everyone. On the eve it was Shaan on the phone and now it is Raja. unfortunately for her, raja is of another mettle and not of shaan material...

Finally caught up!

First of all, WHY is shaurya dwindling in his stand? And HOW blinded can you be when you know your sisters have ragged someone but still refuse to believe the victim? WHY shaurya WHY? This is what happens right? The GIRL always has to struggle more, to prove her point. I understand proof, but i hate this fact that he refuses to acknowledge her as the victim just because she is associated with his mother.

Again, anokhi has logical answers to his stupid questions. It does feel that he wants to trust her but his core Saberwal mind is not letting him

Also, for a bunch of people who hate Aastha and want to forget her, they sure are obsessed with her. The legit get her into everything!

Also, the slap to Raja bhaiyya! Way to go! I wish his parents had noticed his actions and put a stop to it in the beginning itself.

The scene at the saberwal house, again they are all riled up because its their reputation on the line, no one actually cares about what happened to Anokhi! at this point i really dont understand shaurya, he has complaint's against his sisters, he believes that they are involved in ragging and yet refuses to even slightly believe the molestation charge? So ragging happened, and Anokhi called the media for attention for molestation charges? What even?!?! Shaurya sounds ignorant and foolish! His statement of proving Anmol guilty or anokhi a liar made sense but is this "unbiased" pov him being a good professor or him trying to hide his bias against Anokhi!

Shaan was the only person actually fighting for Anokhi and the institute. A good institute is made when the systemic injustice stops. So by actually bringing truth to light , shaan is actually doing SIAC good but he for once, is standing against his family for a girl he believes in? I loved that he called Devi out on the fact that she drags aastha in and again warned Sabs of the consequences of delayed justice.

Now i am tired of Bhatiya's. They give themselves too much importance. LOL! But again, Babli subtly raises a point, wont you fight for yourself? Also, I liked that they showed that some women came to anokhi to thank her, because this happenes. Moments like #metoo have happened because one woman showed courage somewhere and others followed all over the world.

Shaurya is on a mission, to save what he built with hardwork. But again, it would not have come to this, if he had thought from his brain without bias. I loved that Shaan got him food and it also felt that shaurya melted a little because tiny morsel of love came his way. For once, he also did not flinch at aastha's name. I wish we had more of these father son conversations. Shaurya again leaves me confused because when shaan says that anokhi is in the right and shaura too knows it he does not argue with his father and then wants to know if she called the press. So his stand changes again from she definitely did to an if she did.

Last scene. I wish she had slapped AA again. thats it! and Betty really dont know how much trouble they have created and caused.

Side Note 1: Anokhi says her "insaaf" or justice is bigger than her future. I think this has stayed as there have been multiple times where she has left her future for her justice/principles. (the library scene/alok's trap). Now it sort of aligns!

Shaurya completely changed his stand, why? It all changed with the seed of doubt of Astha’s involvement BM sowed into his mind.It looked as if he was spewing out BM and Tej’s bitterness. The press arriving just added fuel to the fire. However Anokhi being a person who doesn’t unnecessarily take blame clarifies her purpose and reasons with him as to how it doesn’t make any sense for her to go against the very institute which she sacrificed everything for. This reasoning definitely makes a difference in his thinking when we see him questioning about ragging incidents from Kitty Bebo and faulting them for spoiling the reputation of the institution. Gayatri though seems to fail as a mother to kitty and Bebo, definitely isn’t someone who will support them for their mistakes. She gives first hand information of their behaviour towards innocent ppl like Kanchan. It is evident that with a person like BM who has say in the house supports such behaviour children can in no way realise their mistakes. Whenever there is a discussion in Sabherwal house with regards to ragging it completely goes back to Astha which doesn’t help the case in anyway. Shaan’s stand for Anokhi and trust in Anokhi is commendable. Both Shaan and Astha are good human beings but not good parents to Shaurya. I keep reiterating that It looks as if there is a breath of life in Shaan after that one call from Astha.

Shaurya feels that the only way to save the institutes reputation is either prove Anmol guilty or prove Anokhi wrong. So is he still doubtful of Anokhi’s truth?

Mrs Bhatia and Vineet are two people wo can bring down a person’s self belief with their disgusting remarks. Poor Mr Bhatia even though voices out his opinion doesn’t have any say. It was a slap in the face for mes Bhatia when the same two girls who she thought would make fun of them came to commend Anokhi and showered her with praises for her bravery.

Y'all are in the 50's.....but I'm catching up!!

My favorite part about Anokhi is that she is such a direct person. She voices what she thinks. There is no façade to her. I believe this is what Shaurya fell for. Being surrounded by people who said one thing, showed another, and did something different probably jaded Shaurya a bit. Anokhi was a breath of fresh air in his life.

Anokhi doesn't like to walk away. She goes head on into a situation(a little impulsive perhaps). This ShaKhi confrontation did not need to happen in the middle of SIAC with everyone watching. Totally unprofessional! But the content was important for everyone to hear. Shaurya acts like a victim in the situation. He's annoyed that SIAC's reputation is affected, thinks that Anokhi is lying about molestation, and is insulted that Anokhi broke her promise to Shaan. We got a peek of the savagery that Shaurya can deal out. He uses such language to hurt others, like a dagger laced with poison. It gives me library vibes!

Anokhi doesn't mince words. She didn't call the media and no girl wants to talk about being harassed/molested in such a public forum that people can point at her izzat. Shaurya really doesn't understand his male privilege. Anokhi is so articulate in presenting her argument that ragging has happened at SIAC but noone has ever taken a stand. For her insaaf is more important than anything else. I laughed at Shaurya threatening stiff action......SIAC thinks a warning is a punishment for a crime like ragging....what's a punishment for just calling the media which isn't illegal? I love that Anokhi threatens him back with a police FIR. Anokhi Bhalla isn't afraid of Shaurya Sabherwal and she's not going to kowtow to him.

I'm glad whatever Anokhi presented got into Shaurya's head. At least enough for him to look at his sisters with suspicion. I loved that Gayatri is aware that her daughters behavior. They do like to put people down, just like their Devi Taiji. Shaan calls out the Sabherwals for betraying the victim of the incident and only worrying about SIAC's reputation. It's sad that they needed Anokhi to spur this change and make SIAC safer. Of course Devi does her usual spin and everything always comes back to Aastha! How does Devi think that Anokhi, new to Chandigarh, or Aastha, living in Kapurthala, have connections to call the media??

The VIP gang are such spoiled brats! They're just unwilling to change their ways. No worries! Anokhi Bhalla has arrived though to put all that 'theory' into a 'practical' for the VIP gang. She's also going to teach Shaurya too. "Jinke saath sachayi hoti hai, unko darne ki koyi zaroorat nahi hoti"

Side note:

~ Aastha and Raja storyline deserved to be played out after the shooting incident!

~ How are the Sabherwals getting phone calls straight from the media? Don't then have a communication department or a PR agency?

~ I appreciated that small Shaan and Shaurya scene. Shaan acting like a dad......better late than never! I think the casting of Khalid as Shaan is a little off for me....KV and him look like brothers! But Khalid and Deepa as Shastha are perfect!

omg yes! shaurya was soooooooo unprofessional. What college professor or director would ever have a conversation like that in public with a student??

his reasoning that the press and Anokhi's interview had made Anokhi a victim and SIAC the culprit is analogous to saying nothing happened . At the SM Shaurya even questioned the girls and Gaytri also but as soon as Devi put in her version of Aastha being the instigator, every little bit of common sense that Shaurya had in him went out the window and he was now ready to battle Aastha by punishing Anokhi.

Again, Aastha gets mentioned and Shaurya's judgement becomes clouded. His anger supersedes his common sense.

I had the same thought. She said that no standing up against a wrong is wrong. So why isn't she standing up for herself? She was waiting for that himmat she got while in Goa in the form of Ahir!

Good that girls other than those in SIAC are encouraging Anokhi and gives her the support in fighting for justice. We need to know what she wants exactly by justice though?

She wanted insaaf so much, but that just ended up meaning that she be proven truthful. But never punishing the culprits. So how exactly did she prevent something worse from happening in the future?

The way Shaurya was reflecting in his room at night and the fac that Shaan came and cared for the fact that Shaurya needed to eat something meant a lot tp Shaurya as despite the latter siding with anokhi, Shaan also cares for him.

I felt that too. He craves that attention from his parents so much. Poor little rich kid!

the way AA calls Reema and maya cuttlery was funny, though rude of course and the way Anokhi came to Reema's rescue was impactful enough for Shaurya to start thinking...Of course for him it is all about SIAC though.

Shaurya definitely had some selective amnesia. He saw her condition that night. He knows the door was locked form the outside and her stuff was in the trash. Ragging is obvious. He thinks molestation is the fake charge. But why? This is where his misogyny shined. He asked her earlier whey she didn't stop Anmol. He also seems to think its impossible that Anokhi was harassed....maybe because of her strong image? or maybe because Anmol insinuated that he wouldn't be interested in a pindu? Shaurya seems to believe her allegations are too far fetched.

Also, for a bunch of people who hate Aastha and want to forget her, they sure are obsessed with her. The legit get her into everything!

I only appreciated Shaurya's statement because at least his intentions were purer than Tej and Alok worrying about Mr.Arora!

I loved Shaan in that scene! He really laid it out. And he laughed out the ludicrousness of Devi's statements.

I really appreciated that they tried to highlight the importance of awareness and having power in numbers. This is why victims need allies. It's hard to take some of these steps alone. Not everyone is an Anokhi. Some are inspired by Anokhis too.

So his stand changes again from she definitely did to an if she did.

It's a fight between his mind and heart. His mind knows the facts and would probably believe Anokhi, but his heart is too hurt by Aastha to give Anokhi any chance.

Last scene. I wish she had slapped AA again. thats it! and Betty really dont know how much trouble they have created and caused.

Such a great point!! Her righteousness does make her impulsive. She's willing to make sacrifices for her beliefs.....like a mahaan ITV female lead I guess!

I had the same thought that the twins are only emulating what they see. If the elders are so vindictive and manipulative, why wouldn't the next generation pick up on that? They capitalized on the hatred for Anokhi that exists in the Sabherwals. Also their sense of survival trumps their love for their family.

I loved when Divyanka and Shreya showed up and admitted how much strength they got from Anokhi's action. Just Anokhi willing to speak her truth inspired those around her.

I don't know about mahaan...but like she is adamant on a loss on anything but not her principles. And she walks away if something hurts her heart as opposed to her mind(ego). She always walks away from Shaurya but with every other man who hurt her, she always fought. Either it's only Shaurya who she has given the right to hurt her deeply or she prefers walking away instead of permanent damage to their relationship.

I don't know if it makes her mahaan or not but it's slightly different ans interesting at the same time.

soooooo true!!!

Before falling in love, she walked away first after the library scene and then after rustication was cleared. Both had to do with Shaurya hurting her. After falling in love, she walked away after I love you, Shagun engagement, Shaurya’s accident, his post-kidnapping, post-mutual I love yous, break up, and then at the end. All of which was due to not trusting Shaurya or being hurt by him or choosing something over him. Everything for Anokhi was connected to Shaurya.
