Shaurya at least kuch to karta hai. Shaan to bas ghar pe baith ke dusro se report leta hai. He is such an unrealistic character. I mean why couldn't he try and meet Aastha even once if he loved her so much. No one had held a gun to his head.🤔

He ignores the one who is close to him. When Aastha was not there, he was chanting Aastha Aastha and shouting at Shaurya. When Shaurya is not there, he is chanting Shaurya Shaurya and blaming Aastha and Anokhi.

I don't remember much about the Shagun Shaurya interactions in the initial episodes, but my general impression is Shagun loved Shaurya but Shaurya made put a condition before her to which she could not agree wholeheartedly. She knew Shaurya would never agree to her getting PhD from Cambridge. (Was Shaurya jealous? From where did he get his PhD?) So to balance both love and her ambition, she tried to use a tactic which backfired badly. Any self respecting woman would never come back, but Shagun did. I still have hopes that she will double cross Devi.

Shaurya never really loved her. If he did, he may have spared a moment to find out why she did what she did. A long distance relationship of two years is not a big deal. Shagun may have wronged him by hiding things. I still respect the old Shagun. Her mistake was understandable.

Cut to Today... When Shaurya messages Anokhi... And his reaction when she does not respond back and ignore ... And while we are talking about ignoring calls and messages...

Shagun after Shaurya broke the engagement (it never happened, right?) she tried calling him gazillion of times, she messaged him, she sent him voice notes begging a talk... Clarity and discussion... But Shaurya kept Ignoring her...

One of the the stupidest issues I've with the plot is 1) Shaurya saying he was engaged with Shagun to Anokhi, 2) Shaurya saying he loved her as well 🤪 Kaunsi sasta nasha karte hai writers? 🤣 Kaida pyaar? Kaha se paida hua? 😆😆 Viewers want to know!!! Such a huge mistake on the writers & directors part.. All this happened, the Shaurya ignoring Shagun's msgs & calls happened because he was never in love with her. The feeling was missing, it was just the perfect bahu material for Sabherwal's with matching standards. Then again, where does Kanchan & Gayatri fit in here? They aren't educated to the brink as far we are being told right? Chakkar aajayega mujhe...

To be honest, I did feel Shagun 1.0 was little obsessed too... Like she chose Cambridge but she still wanted to take care of Shaurya whole life? It was little absurd...

Obsession, love its both ways I guess. At least she had a voice, head-held high. I totally loved her challenge to Shaurya about finding true love but she wouldn't be a perfect bahu for his family 👍🏼 Absurd yes but I guess ishq ne ghalib hume nikamma kardiya line suits her 😂

But Shaurya makes an effort to still talk to Anokhi and in a way like his life hangs in his throat till she just stops ignoring him and talks to him... (Except for when he went away to Goa)... Of course all of these are clues that their relation is not one sided like Sha... Sha..

The Goa escape just because Shaurya's confession was ignored by Anokhi was cute 😆 Such a mega tantrum thrower he is but yeah, it was because of the LD as well 🤣 Kuch toh karna tha team ko, isliye bechara Goa tak agaya with a heartbreak 😆 Sha..Sha.. i don't have words & yes, this relationship is definitely not one-sided!

Talking about sentiments to things -

Shaurya heads to lake and throws away the ring... (🤣 it was shining like a magical ring in the water... Agar koi mystical show hota toh Geniee would have definitely popped out or Ring would have made its way to Anokhi 🤣)

Why on earth did they show that scene? Just the ring being thrown should've been enough 😂😂 So artificial & stupid..

Cut to today.... The dress that Shaurya gifted Anokhi😭 Jo haalat Anokhi ne ki hai woh dress ki... She not only threw it out... She cut it into pieces 😆 and she had hell lot ot flashbacks with it... Very poorly executed scene...

Arey baapre, you already made a thread for the dukh of the dress being torn & we talked about this 😆 Kya hi tha woh scene & if I get a chance to deduce a scene from the show till date, this tops my list 😆😆😹😹✋🏻✋🏻 Trauma ko comedy bana diya.. But what I feel bad is how Shaurya would react when he gets to know this (But I trust the makers with not letting that come into Shaurya's notice coz woh log khud hi bhool gaye honge 🤣🤣)

Again showing how deep the emotions ran... Shaurya was actually shown to be upset with Shagun for her decision and all but it was kind of superficial... He was upset by the fact that woman in his life always chose their dreams and career over him.. Though Shagun literally assured him she won't be gone for long and unfortunately she has returned 😭😭

Shagun & Shaurya I can say never had a match. The chemistry (Not look wise!) was missing. Same kind of family statuses, mentality (Not the misogynist part) & power in the society. Good education, well-settled. These two are a lot alike & even if they had gotten married, they would've gone for a divorce soon because being in an almost platonic relationship is one thing but commitment to it is another 🤷🏻

Another most interesting comment from Shaurya to Mr. Kapoor - Shagun's dad was...

"Please Mr. Kapoor... Don't force Shagun into marriage... She has better plans for her life.. 😆PhD karni hai..." with that Sarcasm and smirk. Haan...

Cut to today is pending for it...😆 if we have Shadi coming up...

I don't feel its ShaKhi getting married secretly or anything next. They might focus on getting Babli divorced & married to Vicky. Perhaps Devi might forcibly ask Shaurya to get engaged to Shagun or my least expectation is a college function. God knows what makers have planned 🤡🤓

In fact discovered few interesting things:

1. We all kind of bashed Anokhi for her strong reaction on knowing about Mysogynist side of SS.. but when I watched old episodes.. the kind of horrible things she has faced in her life in form of her dad, Jiju, brother.. her current reaction is justified as that's the very basis of her journey. Only thing that can change her mind is SS talking to her and ensuring his full support for the career and self dependency.

2. Also.. saw that episode where SS is telling Anokhi.. " Aap kab se mere liye itni important ho gayi hain.. and .. Main Shaurya Sabarwal hun.. kisi ke liye bhi mera decision nahin badalta "🤣🤣.. I was like .. don't rush it man.. it's gonna bite you back🤣

3. I agree.. even Old Shagun was weird.. I agree SS was crappy the way he behaved.. but I still give full marks to him for being upfront and straight fwd... His thoughts about women was regressive but he exactly knew what he needed in his life.. I mean a house wife and he has told Shagun in advance. But she told him about this Cambridge thing in the last minute.. on engagement day.. it was a big thing .. she had go away for two years and she didn't think it was important to inform SS in advance.

Even in real life.. anyone would get spooked in such situation... Especially if his expectation from would be wife is pure housewife role.

To be honest, I might have never been interested in the show had I seen it from Episode 1...because as people said... It went too slow... But looking back and comparing it where it is today makes it sooo beautiful! Plus we have something to fall back on during dull episodes... Like these...

Shagun 1.0 was stupid too in my opinion, but she definitely had class! She seemed little obsessed with Shaurya because she wanted to continue being friends, try building it and all... But not at the cost of her self-respect... She probably didn't expect to get through Cambridge, but discussing once with the partner is important! Shaurya was like... Yeah I am proud of you and whatever but... As long as you don't accept it😆 you basically don't need permission was the base of whole scene there.. But you HAVE to discuss! You need to convey your point of view and plan... It way ahead of time... And not after you decide that you have accepted it... It's unfair to other person... So Shaurya's reaction was not completely wrong on the engagement day... But over time... He should have been OK to talk about it... That's where misogyny comes into picture...

Good observations. I personally did not like the way Anokhi tornedo that dress into pieces. It was so unlike of her character. I felt the only purpose of that scene is it could take care of 10 minutes of episode.

Shagun 1.0 was good to watch.

I was writing on shakhi jo Abhi tak bhi post nahi kiya lol 😂 hopefully kal; so my free time went there

Shagun has gone totally down the drain specially after spiking anokhi’s drink, must have done something like this there also, but she would have landed in jail🤪

Her being low key obsessed makes sense tho like there has to be something strong from her side for a girl like her (Previous Shagun that is) to give up her ambition haina? Btw that’s a good point you pointed out I somewhat remember that scene

So with time her obsession grew to such a toxic level, maybe the only small way one can connect both shaguns 😆

I just have one expectation with writers at this point, give me my og shakhi back uske baad jo karna hai karo; pata nahi yeh bhi Milega ya nahi 😆

At this point I am doing og shakhi jaap like anokhi used to do aastha ma’am jaap😂

Actually Shaurya was shown remembering Shagun quite many times in the show... Not too intensely but subtly... But he never really had an opportunity to ponder about any other aspect as BM was there to instigate... About how he is not wrong and how women like his mom and Shagun are always at fault...

But Shagun was shown to be a woman who definitely loved Shaurya inspite of all the flaws and stupid demands but had some sense... Her tactic was waiting till engagement day was stupid but she still tried her best to talk it out only to be ignored by Shaurya (like how Anokhi ignores Shaurya).

Now I really don't know where she stands anywhere in the ladder of love or self respect 😆

Shaan... The lesser said.. Better it would be... This is one character which absolutely has no impact on story whatsoever! Astha... I will wait till tomorrow to see if she will now be Saberwal prop or actually get back her senses... I was hoping Anokhi will get strong support from her but yahan toh ulta ho raha hai... She is just gloating with Anokhi's strength...

It could be secret Shadi or some concept from Mohor so that they have name to their relationship... Because apparently makers have forgotten - Friends, Professor - Student as name of relations and apparently they have none now...

Shagun 1.0 and Shaurya were definitely no match.. Infact I feel no one could have matched Shaurya back then 🤣 because he seemed to be someone who preferred being in his own regressive world till Anokhi came along...

I do feel that dress scene was supposed to be deeper than funnier.. But makers the great! Well till date makers have never brought up the fact that Anokhi escaped in his car... This is far off sight... Haan... Kanchan can say it to Shaurya about Anokhi's paagalpan in his love🤣
