Thanks Juwi ❤️ I actually got interested in SAAKK after the riot episode. And then I thought that I should give this show a try, but what actually made me a persistent watcher of SAAKK was Anokhi's story. I absolutely loved the 1st episode. I'm a hardcore feminist, and started watching SAAKK because I was so excited to watch a feminist take a stand for her rights against all those vile misogynists around her, including Shaurya (especially Shaurya). And I've mostly stood by Anokhi, her fight for her dreams and against the human obstacles like her papa ji & later Shaurya.

Despite knowing Shaurya's story, I wasn't ready to feel for him. And I was outraged at the way he abhorred Aastha. See, nothing gives you the freedom to treat your mother in that way and especially, when you do not know the reason behind her leaving him. My admiration for Shaurya was occasional.

First, during the time when he saves Anokhi after she was bullied. Second, when he stops Anokhi from getting rusticated. Now this was the best part where I truly loved and respected Shaurya. I have noticed and especially now that people here are speculating that Shaurya, after his marriage w/ Anokhi or even before that i.e., now, he won't side with her when she'll face confrontation with the Sabherwals or w/ Shagun. I want people to rewatch that episode, how brave and adamant Shaurya was when he stood for Anokhi. He was absolutely terrific in that scene. Especially when he was talking to his Bade Papa Tej, it didn't feel to me at that time like it was his BP that he was talking to but some villain who's so desperate to destroy a child's future. Shaurya acted like Anokhi's knight in that scene. I have till now, not seen anybody stand up for Anokhi the way Shaurya did. And I am sure there will be nobody standing up for her like that in the future. If somebody would be, it would still be Shaurya. I'm appalled by the way people have been reacting towards Shaurya in this forum. Anyways, we'll discuss that later.

Third, when he genuinely wanted to stop Anokhi from returning to Kapurthala and his apology. Fourth, when he is broken to see Aastha in coma and is crying and touching her hands (the pull towards your blood).

Now, coming back to today's episode. So far I've been a staunch supporter of Anokhi. I admire any such women who is a fighter! But hey, did you notice Shaurya today? He was literally red when he spoke to BM. He was crying. He was so badly broken from inside. I'm surprised that Shaurya could even talk in that heartbroken condition. I would have gone either completely numb or banged off somebody's head against the wall. And on top of that, there's not a single person in the world who is coming to save Shaurya from that tsunami. It's so difficult for him right now. He might even be feeling suicidal, given his history. But you see how people judge so harshly. Anokhi has recieved her mother's love throughout her life. You know it's still okay to not have a father but losing a mother's love is devastating. It's like suicide. That's why I wish that people on his forum be kind to him, just for today.

I have always loved how strong anokhi has been throughout her whole journey. But Shaurya has always been my favorite character since the beginning. His loneliness always shines through his actions. He has abandonment issues, that's where he gets his anger from. All that will get addressed later on, but watching him grow from the first episode to where this man is now has been such a beautiful journey and I hope he only grows from here and realizes who are his true well wishers. On his most emotional episodes, I just want to him him and never let go. The way he was breaking inside broke me apart. 🥺😭😭😭

Definitely agree with u.

My heart also aches more for Shaurya 😭

I loved how he pointed out to BM that it's life and his haq. Questioning BM why does he need to prove himself what BM is to him everytime was a fresh change. His direct confession that he loves someone else was an indicator of his headstrong nature. After today's episode, it is clearly evident that he isn’t someone who can be constricted under stupid vaada or ehsaan to proceed with the engagement unless there is any bigger issue.

While convincing Reema for Anokhi's whereabouts or while talking to Anokhi-Ahir, he kept his frustration on check. The way Anokhi stopped him from cupping her face and the things she said, those were too difficult for him to handle. Poor guy...💔

I think I m one of those rare souls who never judged him.. even when he character assassinated Anokhi..

Shaurya is a flawed yet perfect ML.. that's the beauty of his character..and KV is just so brilliant👏

I love this post and I love you for making it!! Seriously I'm showering you with all my appreciation for pointing this out 🤗 I absolutely feel bad for him! The helplessness he experienced in the moment was so apparent in his eyes and his expression. He knew precisely what Anokhi would be thinking and there were many moments that Shaurya shined today. He asked Devi to talk in private during the announcement so he could clear things up that he didn't want this. He already tried to to interrupt her many times in the previous episode. Devi kept steamrolling over him and emotionally manipulating him with the whole "I'm so happy" nonsense of hers. He wanted to go after Anokhi but Shagun held him back. And as soon as he could get out, he went looking for her to clear the air. I cannot even describe how satisfied I was to see his conversation with Devi where he told her point blank that she cannot make these decisions without his consent, that he was so happy today, and that he doesn't love Shagun, he loves someone else. Shaurya is the only ML I have seen in a long time who actually recognizes when someone is trying to emotionally blackmail him and he totally gave it back to her. When she tried to use her haq as his mother card, then he gave it back with his haq as her son. He was done pandering to her BS and I give him mad props for that.

In all of this, I really feel bad for him because he is stuck balancing so many different relationships and in so many ways, his hands are tied from all sides. And you're so right, he really is alone. Anokhi, the only person that he could freely talk to about things is the very person that is hurt in all of this. My heart breaks for his man who, despite his best intentions and efforts, finds himself in situations where external parties constantly ruin any chance he has at true happiness. Like Shaurya said, anytime things start looking up for these two, everything crashes around them. That pain, that frustration, it is so apparent and so heartbreaking😭

Thanks for your reply and agree with every word of yours 😃 I've no complains from Anokhi today, but only that when she saw Ahir & Shaurya holding each other's collar, she just looked at Shaurya and removed his hands from Ahir ... And she made Ahir stand in between her & Shaurya and asked him to settle down everything. I understand she likes Ahir as a friend, and I like Ahir so much as well, and Ahir's reaction is totally justified. But I still quite don't feel okay with Anokhi there. If you love someone, you first respect them. And love is a private affair! But Anokhi in order to hide her pain, is allowing everybody close to her to meddle in between her love. That's what I don't appreciate quite much!

Babli doesn't allow Anokhi to speak much when she was ready to get Vineet arrested. But Babli wants to be the witness of everything Anokhi is experiencing in a relationship. I don't find this okay.

I love Shaurya!!! His backstory is so fleshed out that it’s hard not to empathize with his lonliness and heartbreak! I’ve been wanting Deepa to show up since we started Goa....because Shaurya needs his mom. He might not like her but she’s the only one who truly sees his heart. She can convey to others the feelings he doesn’t know how to voice.

I hope she becomes a bridge for her son and brings people like Babli onto his side. He needs people to not misunderstand him...because like he said “sometimes people just need to understand” without him having to say it!!!

Hey so much thanks for your love 🤗 I believe that's why Aastha is returning. She will be here for just Shaurya this time. Since, she's the only one and perhaps the first person to recognize Shaurya's feelings for Anokhi. A mother knows what her child is going through. I think this time she'll make Anokhi understand about Shaurya from Shaurya's point of view. And I hope Shaurya starts respecting her from this moment.

and now abt the post...

can I be true to what i felt..

i did feel bad for him but not sympathy.. cause he dint need it. he was the star of this episode.

despite being shattered inside (seeing Anokhi leave) the way he stood his ground (respectfully) in front of Badi ma... I loved him just so much there....he is not bad with handling his Badi Maa intelligently ...

the way he handled cunning Badi Maa was the moment of the episode.. i literally wanted to give him standing ovation, hugs and claps for his straight words to Badi Maa. He was so concise, clear and to the point with her..... which made her trying to emotionally manipulate him yet again which dint work again.

just like I said for Anokhi.. and here too.. no one here needs Sympathy or any Pity.. both the leads are strong characters.. with their strongest traits hidden inside they just need the right person to make them realize they have that power... and i am sure today's incident will make shaurya learn to stand for his ground more.

but then Sympathy came back.. when i saw Anokhi being thrown out and door slammed on her.. its like history repeating itself.. just like how Astha was forced to stay away from shaurya Anokhi is also. but i am sure this time it wont work.

Hey thanks for replying ☺️ I agree that they both are strong leads, and strong characters don't need sympathy and I am not even talking about it anywhere. Empathy is very different concept. It's like putting yourself in someone's shoes and acknowledging their situation. Sympathy is just looking at their situation and feeling pity for them.

I've written in my previous reply about what I felt for Anokhi regarding today's episode. You can check that comment.

And wow! Glad to know that you're an ARMY just like me 😎 Jimin & V... Both are my bias-wreckers!

You have put across everything I had in my mind and I have nothing more to add!

In fact one of my initial thoughts after saturday's episode was Anokhi will have a support system in Babli and ACP but who does Shaurya really have to get him through this? Because Kanchan's capacity is limited here and even when Shaan and Aastha arrive there'll be other challenges!

I don't think any relationship in his life has been a constant as much as the one he shares with pain as such! Pain has been his only constant the fact that he has been able to retain a sense of fairness and clarity on what right and wrong is, is a remarkable feat in itself given his childhood. Now when he wants nothing more than to love and be loved by Anokhi, pain is still a constant like a companion that he has always tried to shake off but only to be held on with more vigour!

Thank you so much saying this 😃 how you described pain being the only constant in Shaurya's life. And absolutely agree where you say that retaining a sense of fairness on what's right and wrong is perhaps Shaurya best quality, even after how he has been brought up. It's so difficult to be such a person, when you've grown up in so much chaos... you lose the sense of distinguishing b/w the values of right and wrong. Also, Shaurya isn't violent like most of the others who have faced a similar childhood. Shaurya, even at times of confrontation with Ahir, has never been violent physically. It has always come first from Ahir's side. And Shaurya loves to nag to himself about Ahir when he's feeling annoyed with his closeness towards Anokhi. Otherwise, Shaurya is respectful towards Officer. He is an ethical person and also a man who has integrity.
