Give her some screen space...let her have Flashbacks and show some scenes where she is regretting telling those mean things to Shaurya... (it's all another case, her dialogues even during angry wala confession didn't make sense... Whereas she had better points for argument.. She went to revenge game)

Her enjoying her life is absolutely fine... Basking in attention is fine... Just that her dialogues never makes sense to me... I have no issues with Kanchan providing Anokhi with flight and hotel... Afterall she came here for Shaurya... I have issue with the speed with which they are showing her changing thoughts... But her wanting to stay without planning further funds, and all is absurd... But OK fine.. Covid hai... Time nai tha... Kar do jo karna hai...

But aise Mein bhi how is Shaurya so perfectly presented as character?

Shaurya had phase where he was angry, sad, happy to see Anokhi, disappointed when she left and him blushing makes so much more sense than Anokhi behaving in similar pattern... And similar intensity...

I understand show was to be written only to explore depth of Shaurya's character.. But now toh story is supposed to be Shaurya and Anokhi na...

In the process... I do see that fire missing from first episode... But I am okay to put that in the back burner for now...

Shaurya as a character is presented so well while we are having to sit here and dissect anokhi’s character and her feelings.

Uska devdas part was presented so well while anokhi didn’t take 2 mins to get convinced that shaurya loves her after really believing ki he is playing a game with her.

The thing is shaurya’s actions are a result of a complex thought process that is SHOWN to us. While anokhi’s thought process ke liye we are just having to assume. No monologues, flashbacks, idk what’s the rush?

How am I suppose to connect to a character jo kal shaurya pe ilzaam laga rhi thi abt revenge and all and aaj ikdam khush, itni jaldi Samajh mein kaise aa gya. Phir bhi I am trying to understand bcs of the way they developed her character initially, isi liye it makes me even more upset.

From her falling In love episodes, I wrote two posts about the lack of depth and the rush, but still I am telling myself chalo young hai, impulsive hai isi liye yeh isi liye woh, but kab tak.

This is plain ignorance and negligence towards her character.

And I have been saying this since long time back. They should have stuck to their previous title if their intent is still the same.

If you have changed the title then logon ki expectation will be changed so your execution should too.

Covid is an explanation for many things but not this.

I also want to point out to everyone that is stuck on this whole her falling in love too fast. Everyone experiences love differently. So if she did fall in love with the first man that walked into her life, that is not her fault. You love who you love. So the way she is acting and responding is completely natural to her.

As for her dialogs that are written for her.... what do you expect from a girl that is in her late teens, early twenties? Comparing her lines to a MAN is not even justified, like you can't compare the two.

Reema told anokhi that shaurya sir likes you and in the next 2-3 days she realised that she is in love with him. And that too her love is being shown as deep as that of shaurya’s.

Teenagers even if they do fall in love so fast don’t fall so hard as much anokhi is shown to be fallen.

Anokhi makes perfect sense, what doesn’t makes sense is the execution. It seems like the story is always in rush from anokhi’s side while shaurya’s almost every single thought process is made sure to be shown to us. This is the problem, I feel.

I don’t think anyone is blaming her, infact ppl are just expressing their concern (who has) with the way her character is being presented. I love anokhi too and it’s my love for the character that is making me want to be hoping that her character is shown in a better way.

As far as dialogues go, I am comparing the quality of dialogues. I am not saying she should start talking like shaurya but this wasn’t how nikki’s dialogues were before hostel scenes. She has much better dialogues and there was a time where to me even her aastha jaap made sense. Isliye acc to me there are inconsistencies and somewhere a lack of execution wrt to her pov.

Ab dialogues ache nahi bcs she is 20 only, impulsive to fall in love bcs she is 20. Then how to connect to her. We can’t assume her thought process on our own, can we? Her thought process needs to be shown.

Her thoughts aren’t wrong at all but in order to connect to her viewers need to be shown her perspective without being in rush.

@Bold: Love is a many splendored and somewhat mysterious emotion. It comes in different shapes and forms and intensities and same person is capable of loving different people differently. I strongly believe each love is very different. However there is something common in all kind of love - attraction, comfort. respect, trust and a desire for appreciation and some reciprocation from object of your love. If you look at Shaurya and Anokhi, they always had a strange affinity to each other. Despite constant bickering, there was a thread of attraction, respect and trust running between them. Shaurya was a very closed person but Anokhi was constantly in his personal space and the way he treated Anokhi even at its worse was different. My point being the mix for love was always there, the realization was not probably because they were so different from what they imagined their soul mate would be. Astha caught on it pretty quickly as did Ahir. From Shaurya's perspective- why would he get attracted to a pesky but courageous pindu who was constantly in his face while from Anokhi's perspective- why would a 10 year older successful and rich man who had all the choices in the world be interested in her. Also want to point out they were not looking for love, Anokhi had her career and Shaurya his pet project to succeed in.

All Reema and Kanchan did was make them aware of that attraction and they connected the dots themselves. Shaurya's "Kaise Hua" and Anokhi's "why me" stems from that realization. Suddenly the reason why they trusted each other or wanted to hang around each other or missed each other took on a different meaning. When Anokhi found out about Astha during riots, she ran to inform Shaurya despite knowing he did not have a good relationship with his mother. Shaurya's slur on her character hit Anokhi more than it should have. Shaurya was constantly jealous of Ahir and Anokhi equation. In Library, he offered up himself as her target. When returning back from Kapurthala there was no doubt he was strongly attracted to her in the car. Anokhi thought of Shaurya when she was asked about her favorite person, the very same who had brutally humiliated her a few days back. In fact the only time she paid attention in journey to Kapurthala was when Shaurya was mentioned. Shaurya was on pins and needles when Anokhi left SIAC, it was not the first time he was rude or mean to someone but it did make him uneasy this time. So it was not after Reema said, Anokhi fell in love, it was after Reema said, she accepted that she might be in love.

Age has got nothing to with how you feel for someone so saying that Anokhi should not have been so in love because she was a teenager seems unfair. She bereft of true love and appreciation from opposite gender most of her life, so when she got it, she probably fell in deeper than most would because her appreciation and need for it was greater than most. was There are people I know who fell in love in middle school or high school and after years of struggle married their loved ones. My manager is one of those folks so true life story.

I do agree with you about the dialogues to some extent but in any show there is a trade-off between maintaining pace, exploring characters and how they are presented. She can't have the same complicated thought process that Shaurya has because this is her first love and the her character sketch is much simple compared to Shaurya.

I think you might have forgotten when she was leaving Chandigarh back to Kapurthala, and Ahir asked her who her favorite person was, the only person she thought of was Shaurya. Anokhi has only ever reacted in the most impulsive way, so for her to fall in love like this makes sense. Anokhi is an expressive character, so her to fall the way she did made sense. Shaurya overthinks almost everything, so for him to fall in love did take time to realize. Also, having a friend bring light on someone else's feelings is not a bad thing. Sometimes you do need that push from someone else to realize something in your life.

The way everyone is knit-picking everything little thing she does or even Shaurya does, does come off to other people as character bashing. So to say her dialogs aren't good, she's not the same person anymore, this is out of her character. So yeah, this does trigger other people.

Before the hostel, we got to see this girl give her Aastha jaap to Shaurya constantly. But, the story right now, where does she need to express these feelings. Sure upcoming, we might get to see her in that form again. But right now, we are focused on a girl coming to terms with her feelings and insecurities.

Absolutely agreed Juwi! People have been knit picking on the characters without proper understanding of the characters or their journey or the story even.

But I am seriously sick and tired of seeing multiple posts on negative things on the main page. I fell in love with the story, because this story is completely different from the saas-bahu drama that is normally shown. The story is so beautifully written, and these characters are so well executed and a lot of us relate to them. So to bring such bad vibes does not sit well with me. And I know there are more people out there that are thinking the exact same thing!
