How long can the shoot go on in goa

There is uncertainty whether after may 1...lockdown will be lifted and shoot can start in Mumbai ....

They have shown 10 days leave for college....as anokhi mentioned ...and fest had to be scrapped....

Actors are having a good break in goa i guess

...though there is continous shooting...

I am sure they have made some long term arrangements like all other shows... But I wonder how is not every state under lockdown?

In DJs previous show, Mere Dad ki Dulhann they managed to drag the show for good 3 weeks post lockdown by filler episodes with all flashbacks. Maybe they might go the route if required!

Show needs a revamp. i am bored 😴...

i will love flashbacks of jugni anokhi with her mummy and astha...because those tracks will never come back...it's gone..

True...every state condition is critical...but lockdown is not a solution too..considering the economy..covid is better than poverty..

I am missing your discussions on forum... But I agree...

The show has gotten terribly boring and predictable... I thought the show was different and had scope for beautiful story... But naa... Like lately I am finding Ekta Kapoor's Kumkum Bhagya more interesting 🤪 wahan atleast family is uniting while all we see here is leads romancing duniya bhula kar, one family is worried, one family is plotting... Bhai... Soch ki takkar kahan hai???? That's what I had signed up for...

Anokhi is just unidentifiable now! Shaurya is suddenly changed person... For me that's actually overnight... If he feels he is now capable of loving aaj ki ladki...

So the only soch ki takkar I can expect is Saberwals vs. Anokhi and Shaurya together... But promos had them standing against each other.... Instead we see Shagun, Ahir and what not while these two might keep fighting for love.. 😆

Lockdown can serve two purpose:

1. Have them revisit the show and reconnect with characters

2. Keep people safe..

3. If they have budget issues.. Cut down Shagun, Kitty, Bebo and side actors...😆

Anokhi is some other person....kahan gayi khudari...kisi aur ke paise pe rahna..khaana...

True...ekta is better...she knows where to balance family and couple...romance and drama...

This is..there is nothing worthwhile stuff to discuss for us na....they are rushing for marriage i guess...padhai gayi teel lene...even i don't mind it going off air too...won't blame trp audience... actors got their share of fame is the good thing ...plus for them...

I highly doubt lockdown will be uplifted. There are chances for lockdown pan India in May. So they will have to stop shoot in Goa also at that time. Already there is night curfew in Goa.

I'm one-of those people who want shootings to halt. There is regular cases of one or other actor or team member turning covid positive. Halting shootings would be better in that circumstances.

Ekta knows how to keep people engaged even through worst tracks...

DJs can use potential parallel tracks... And they should know fans are keen on Astha and Shaan ka story as well... So if they need to separate leads... Keep maa baap together or atleast show them...

If they don't keep us engaged... Show will be off... I 5 other DJs show... ML actually got married to Shagun parallel... And FL was to focus on her goals... But FL kind-of supported ML in senseless revenge game being his lover... And kept loving him... It was sooo cringing... Because of that stupid love she never got back to stronger woman she was...

So show better end if they don't remember the original plot of the show...

A nationwide lockdown is indeed necessary to break the chain. The healthcare infrastructure has almost collapsed under the immense pressure. Shortage of oxygen, hospital beds, vaccines everything. Situation is really grim.

On the other hand job losses and adverse effects on the economy can also not be overlooked. Show business falls under the unorganized sector where you do not know how long you have a job. As long as the shoots continue, the cast and especially the crew have an assured income. The moment the shoots are stalled things will turn bleak for them.

I won't comment if shoots need to be stalled or not because people need jobs and no one would feed them if they sit at home. The crowds need to be controlled and any shooting should be done under strict guidelines like it was done last year when the number of cast and crew on the set were fixed. The actors were asked to maintain a distance. (That was done in bengali tv, perhaps not in Hindi).

It was something bold at that time...

Maryada was one of the first itv shows which had a gay love story. DJs have always made good shows. Their first show, when the PH was not even named was Banegi Apni Baat in the mid 90s, a really progressive show. I have not watched it but heard very good things about it. But JJKN, Just Mohabbat, LRL, Bhaskar Bharati, Maryada, Parvarish all were quite progressive and different from the run of the mill ITV shows. I had high hopes on them because the OG was spoiled by the writer because of the TRP. Though they have changed a bit, they are following the same tracks. I had wished they would just take the initial theme but make their own story but that is not happening.
