I think what TM and babli meant was anokhi is inexperienced about men as in romantically. All men were trash in her life (including shaurya 60% of time) and this relationship is not between equal. She's young, naive, have zero support system (ashtha and babli don't count, acp can't help beyond a certain point) , not financially independent and has too much baggage. @RED - she is young yes, ONLY by age, maturity wise, she is older than Devi. she is not naive, she knows the rights and wrongs. She has a strong support system, you cant cancel out Aastha, Babli, ACP, Shaan. These people have been with her since DAY 1!! Aastha threatened to go to the department of education if they don't let Anokhi go to SIAC. Anokhi isn't alone!

@BLUE - the question of where will she go is so shallow. She is a strong girl, if need be, she can get herself a job and a place, she can rent out Shaan's apartment, she has the guts to point out the wrong doings of the college in front of the media and stand tall. She doesn't take bs from anyone. She may not respond at first but when needed she does. Again showing her maturity.

But ! And there is a huge BUT I am coming here with- You started with how someone was there who could shut MR RUDE up - how is he rude ? Otherwise he has been- yes I agree, but today in what context are we talking about ?

Or if we are coming with the past experiences then wasn't Anokhi equally ignorant and rude with him when she couldn't get his perspective? Then why not Ms. Rude as well?

Why is it always us being harsh on Shaurya because he comes with flaws that are redeemable! Yes we should never forget what happened at the library but we should also not forget how honest he was with his apology as he addressed her pain. Maybe, realisation never dawned upon him, maybe he never realised the gravity of his mistake but how does that make him as MR RUDE and highlight his usual aggressive self ?!

Yes, Babli scene was a stealer I agree but how well she articulated the scene ? By calling the only person/man who helped her and apparently stood for her as her husband tried to hit her on the street?

And she ended up calling the same man CHAALAK ! I must say she articulated well !

You see I do understand Babli's concern and her care and do see through her pain, sufferings, helplessness and vulnerability and I loved, loved her today but her clouded judgement against the one man that stood up for her will not let me agree that she articulated well !

But yes she did fantastically put her point across!

Anokhi- a naive girl who ran from her own wedding, was smart enough to carry a pepper spray, went through the harsh reality of society as men on road tried to molest her while she returned from her college, fought for her studies against her father, beared the pain mentally and was physically hit everytime she blinked of dreams, stood up against her brother in law as he hit her sister, stood up against her professor as he character shamed her and crossed his lines - yes I must say what does she know how men are out there ?!

Age doesn't bring the shine in truth, experiences do! Experiences that doesn't always mean entertaining the silence and kissing the pain, even in the silence of battles and the clink of metals, strength and fear shines with the darkest of vulnerabilities!

Anokhi needs to learn from life ? Anokhi Bhalla ?

A 19 year old girl with unbashed dreams unshakable strength on a journey to celebrate pain with her strength and positivity needs to learn from life ?!

No joke I learn from her as she breathes fire in my soul !

One has to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince!

But who wants to find a prince?! Usse bi tou pooch lo! Two flawed humans, attracted to the flaws of each other, fell in love while fighting the flaws of world together and now are on journey to flaw the world with imperfection of their love !

I guess I still don't know why she should function under the presumption that there are men who will use her as timepass. I guess she should be cautious but why should she be untrusting off the bat? I feel like having male friends and a romantic partner are not going to be the same. Because it's not like men are a monolith where they all think the same and so if she befriends many of them, then she will understand them all better. But still to that point, even before falling for Shaurya she did start spending time with Ahir as a friend. They became friends well before she realized her feelings for Shaurya and she still ended up falling for him.

Maybe she should be cautious but there is nothing Shaurya has done that would suggest that he is treating her as timepass. Like she knew that Anmol wasn't a guy with good intentions. Another thing is, someone is going to have to be the first person she has feelings for right? In this case it's Shaurya, but it's not like he is the first man that has tried to woo her. Monty also wanted to flirt with her and she didn't fall for him. It's not like Shaurya had a great impression from day one either so I don't think she immediately fell for him. Only when she saw his layers and started to understand him did she fall for him.

The jugni who took part in debate competition was single strong headed woman... I am kind of failing to connect with this Anokhi who could stand up to Shaurya when he tells her to not meet ACP... She rather ignores it as cute jealousy or nature now... But she is fine with explanation Shaurya gave regarding meeting ex fiancé... Her words and her actions are sometimes I cannot resonate with from the Anokhi of episode 1. I thought she would give Shaurya back for his double standards and point out hypocrisy...

But ab toh at this point she thinks... He is a changed man... Baba... Pyaar andha hota hai... Shakhi fan hokar bhi... I am kind of disappointed with bits of way romance is being developed... I might start viewing the show... After Shagun leaves. Or Anokhi gets over main heart break.

Okay, I do see where you are coming from but I don't think Shaurya's take on women has completely changed, yes him being supportive of Anokhi's education is true but the crux will be addressed at a later point which is where all this is leading to. Shaurya as a person hasn't had a black and white perspective on women his misogyny is shaded too, he wanted a homemaker as his wife but during one of the initial episodes there was a scene where he looks utterly perplexed when Devi says "women need to be flexible for a successful marriage" which clearly shows that while he clearly had expectations he wasn't expecting a relationship where compliance rested only on one spouse, he believes/believed in certain traditional gender roles but he wasn't looking for a passive partner. Shagun and Shaurya were perfect on paper at that point which I am sure is what led to their relationship in the first place with Anokhi, which is why it hit him hard when he described the kind of person he wanted. So the misogyny being addressed will be the crux and we'll get what we have signed up for!

@bold but this hasn't happened yet right? Besides Shaurya despite his jealousy has also made an effort to be cordial to Ahir, which again shows a step towards growth, during Holika Dehen despite not being happy with the ACP's presence he held an olive branch by being polite if anything Ahir did not respond graciously to it by passing a taunt on how it was him who needed help and not Anokhi.

At this rate, you guys are hell bent on finding faults in both the main characters. Like no matter what they do, there is always something missing. If we go by your logic, then this show might as well just stop since the ML and FL are clearly not tickling your taste buds. We have just reached a 100 episodes!!! The pace that this show has taken is commendable because otherwise like we'd still be watching the ragging scene and another 50 slaps and 100 head shakes. The crux of the story is yet to be shown, we are getting there, you gotta chill a little!!! Trying to find a Shaurya or Anokhi that don't even exist yet is not going to get the makers to give you those character traits any quicker.
