What about original version who fell in love first there and why?

I too feel that Shaurya Babu will fall for her... since he is already smitten by her attitude somehow. For Anokhi love is not a priority atm because she wants to focus in her studies and being a small town girl she will not think about falling in love with her teacher. But Shaurya on the other hand will fall for this jhalli girl for her positive approach towards life.

I will again rely on my experience with DJs show... This show seems to follow the trend... With an age difference of almost 10 years between lead characters and all...

It will be Shaurya falling for Anokhi and he will continually make efforts to gain the same love and respect from Anokhi like he would develop...

Previous shows I am referring to are Mere Dad ki Dulhan (Amber Guneet, Nia Kabir), Ek Mutthi Aasman (Raghav Kalpi).. The show seems to follow the trend... But being into education.. I am little disappointed by the fact they share teacher and students relationship...

After few episodes police wale ki entry hogi or Anokhi ko uske saath dekh ke shaurya full on jealous hone wala hai😳. so unconsciously shaurya will be the first one.

I think & want Shaurya to fall in love with Anokhi first! It would be more interesting to see his one sided love for Anokhi first & his soft feelings & change of mind for her

That's a very good question! I voted for Shaurya because I really want it to be Shaurya. I mean this will be interesting to see how Shaurya will behave when he will be helpless falling for his student and the girl who has opposite views on the things he believes in. Also Shaurya is a very intense character so it will be a treat for us viewers to see him fighting with his dimag saying something else and his dil will be craving for Anokhi. I want to see the curse given by Shagun getting real and Shaurya will be head over heels in love with his student, how he will manage?

For Anokhi, I think her studies and to fulfill her dreams are very important for her atm and she has done so many things like running away from marriage, leaving her family for studies so her focus will be on the same. But we can't say, it's also possible that she can be first to fall for her teacher. She has already started seeing good side of him, she is inexperienced so its very easy for her to develop a crush on him. Ball is on CVS court they can take story in either ways. I so badly want it to be Shaurya :) let's see. Btw loved this poll and it was good to read people's POV😃

I also initially was disappointed at the student-teacher relationship track and show. It seems like his ex shagun was also a student and became a professor at the university so I wonder if their actual love track will start after she graduates .. Because I'm sure Shaurya will not want to move forward or even admit he is into anokhi...or maybe some part of it they are making it okay by showing they met prior to her enrollment at his college and he knew her from before and doesn't really like/consider her a student bc shes aastha's student. He even keeps mentioning that...

Great point. I knew Amber was at least 11 years older than Guneet but what was the difference between Nia and Kabir? I also liked that other guy (forgot his name - RV maybe? - since I was off/on with the show) and he liked her back but she wasn’t over Kabir.

Seems like age differences is this PH forte. But they seem to deal with it fairly well.

navigating the student and professor relationship is tricky. Fortunately both are adults but the sensitivity and nature of their relationship cannot be ignored. I think it makes it’s harder to navigate in ITV land as well that thrive on couple scenes. It’s not so much the age difference but more their relations.

Seems like Shagun and he were students back then. Initial promos made me feel like he was some suave business man who was conducting campus IVs.

Being into education, it's part of our curriculum on how to deal with such feelings for a student in terms of ethics. Ultimately, it will be a ethical violation but nothing too unrealistic, I guess... So I guess storyline makes me uncomfortable probably because the way I was trained to... Be it counselor and counselee or teacher student.. Previously movies have made sure to not show romantic feelings in such relationships (Dear Zindagi, Andaz and so on). In Main Hoon Na, Sushmita's character accepted her feelings for Shahrukh's character only after realizing, he was not really a student of college but had different agenda.. And yeah... Let's see what this show offers.
