Often those that lack substance, integrity and identity are jealous of those that inhabit these characteristics

Aastha is a woman who stands on her own 2 feet without support and has defied any type of ‘ownership’ ie being owned as a wife or bahu

This is why we see scenes where Astha SIL and her bahu speak of Astha in awe...they want to meet the woman who dared to give the Sabherwals the middle finger,so to speak

@ bold - Exactly what I thought.

They could not conceive

Got their eyes on shaurya

Got chance when astha wanted them to allow her work for her parents

To kick her out of house (hence life of shaurya) and get over shaurya as a varish of them...

That's why she brings asthaa in every conversation to remind shaurya what she did with him

to keep him hating her

and keep shaan and shaurya away from each other so they can rule shaurya mind..

That's why bade papa cut the conversation when shaan said that ..

if aastha wanted to defame sabrwals - she would have done 25 years back...

(I saw a question/curiosity in shaurya's eyes...)

as bade papa was afraid shaurya may ask what happened 25 yrs back ... or dig the past.

If she truly loved shaurya he would have never remembered astha or be sad at the fact that his mom left him.. because he was just 4 and in these many years he would have over come her absence she he had another woman mothering him.. but devi love is only about filling his head against his mother.. and thats why he still craves his own mother over devi.. devi very well understands this and leaves no reason to blame astha for everything..

It's just a matter of time.. astha shaan shaurya and anokhi are all very strong minded ppl.. when they stand for themselves neither of the sabhrawals will stand a chance.. and the clock will turn back to the same situation once shaurya falls in love with anokhi..

Oh Namu nice to see you here! We used to talk in the beyhadh 2 forum.

Yes you're absolutely right. This is why I said Shaurya is like a trophy for his badi maa. She doesn't love but treats him like one of her possessions that she acquired. No wonder Shaurya still craves for his mother.

But I wonder how his relationship with his Chachu's wife is like? She seems sensible along with her bahu. It feels strange she didn't give Shaurya any love.

Hi moonlight, nice to see you here!

Yes I agree but I think as everyone else said, Devi must've been jealous too that Aastha had a child and she didn't. I mean that's quite possible.

Yeah, Shaurya's chachi and her bahu seem the only sensible ones besides Shaan. They speak in such awe of Aastha but recognise that they could never have the courage to do that. This is why they idolise her.

Moreover, Devi treats Shaurya like a possession she won from Aastha. No wonder Shaurya still craves for a mother's love

Shaan is madly in love with Aastha and we know they had a love marriage. I wonder how supportive the family was of the initial marriage. Seeing Devi try to play matchmaker with Shaurya makes me think she may have tried the same with her brother in law. But wasn’t successful and she holds a grudge because things did not go her way.

Also I doubt Tej loves Devi and vice versa. That might another reason Devi envies Aastha. Even though she is estranged from Shaan, he still listens to her and loves her. Devi didn’t get the same affection and respect in her marriage. She even told Shaurya in one of the earlier episodes that women have to compromise and be the most flexible in a marriage.

A lot of flashbacks with Aastha, Shaurya and Shaan also contain just the three of them so even though they all lived together with rest of the Sabherwals, seems like they were happy in their own little family world.

She dint seem to even handle her own daughters.. problem is that all these women r pressed dow by devi and tej.. noone is able to stand up for themselves.. devi has a say on all these kids.. so they dont care for their own parents.. astha was the only one who stood ground but unfortunately shaan dint go against his family for her..

Devi if her upbringing was so good then shaurya wouldn't crave his mom..

Only anokhi entering that house will put everyone into place and liberate the other women in the house..

Btw who is that sil of shaurya married to? They dint show him..

Yash. They show him once in a blue moon and that too for a minute or so. He hardly has any dialogues and they haven’t shown much of him lately
