Hello friends

Here we go....

Anokhi took a deep breath and tried to calm her racing heart.

Hell......

How could she?

Today is her first night and here she is sitting in a stranger's room who is now her husband. She nervously looked around the room which was beautifully decorated with flowers and diyas. Ofcourse it looks very romantic, but she is not one for romance and all.

She looked at the photo of Shaurya on the bedside table and remembered the day they first met.

Flashback

It was her engagement day with a man she never met before, but now here she is getting ready for that.

" Oho my Nikki is looking truly very beautiful. Kisi ki nazar na lage ise. " Babli said softly.

Anokhi gave her a small smile and looked at her reflection on the mirror. Her nervousness and uncertainty was quite clear in her eyes.

Rama put a comforting hand on her shoulder , " nikki chinta mat kar. Shaurya is a very good boy. Believe me, I met him and I know he will be always there to help you and will be a good life partner for you. Thoda kam bolta hai and reserved too. But deep down he has a heart of gold. "

" Hope he has a heart big enough to let me fulfill my dreams. " Anokhi said.

" I believe he will. After all he is a professor and they run a educational institution ,SIAC. "

" That was the college I always wanted to study in. " Anokhi whispered to herself.

Anokhi looked at Shaurya as they exchanged rings. Not even once he looked at her. Looking at his face no one could tell what was in his mind, but she could tell he was not interested in any of this. Looks like he has a ego as tall as his height , Anokhi thought.

After sometimes she was roaming around the room in search of Shaurya Sabharwal when she bumped into his sisters.

" I am sorry. " She apologized.

" Uff looks like this ganwar don't even know how to walk and she is going to marry our Shaurya bhaiya. " Bebo taunted.

" Exactly. I mean I don't understand why they choose her. Shaurya Sabharwal the most eligible bachelor is going to marry this tiny, tiny Anokhi. " Kitty said.

" That you should ask them. Please let me go. " Anokhi said calmly.

" Oh not so fast dear bhabhi. By the way let me tell you about Shaurya bhaiya......"

" Kitty, Bebo what are you doing? " Shaurya asked sternly coming there.

Seeing him both the girls stood straight downing their heads.

" Bhaiya we were just...."

" I know what you were doing? Now apologise to her and go. "

Both the girls apologised reluctantly and went away.

Anokhi turned to Shaurya who was about to go.....

Flashback ends

Sound of door opening startled Anokhi and brought her out of her thoughts. She looked up and saw Shaurya entering the room.

Shaurya looked at her and walked towards her and sat down on the bed.

Anokhi tightly closed her eyes.

Shaurya looked at her face and could not deny that she is quite pretty in her own unique way. Innocent and having a lot of dreams. He felt like.... He would break her just by touching her....

He was not delusional, he knew why he married her. But he can't give her his heart. That belonged to someone else and that person broke his trust.

He abruptly stood up and said , " look, I know you are not comfortable with my presence and don't worry I won't......."

" Please saaf saaf kahiye. " Anokhi said softly.

" I can't accept you as my wife. I married you for my badi ma and I am sorry if you feel hurt but I can't just accept you. " He said and walked out of the room.

Anokhi looked at his retreating form and blinked back her tears. Ofcourse y she too didn't want to marry him but that doesn't mean she insulted him like he just did to her.

" Never ever in my life I felt this much humiliation. Why? " She said to herself " I didn't marry him for his money. I did it for my mummy's sake but I accepted him and this marriage wholeheartedly. Then why.... he...."

Shaurya got out of his car and walked towards the desolated library of SIAC.

He sat down on the floor and tried to calm down his racing heart. He messed up everything. Now she will hate him. Great.

But he didn't had any other choice. He couldn't deny his badi ma. But that girl.....

His wife. He broke her heart.

She must be feeling cheated.

He remember the day she asked him whether he was happy or not. And what did he say.

He will do whatever his badi ma wants. And he don't have any problem with her.

" How could I do this to her? She deserves better than me? Dad was correct. I messed up badly. " He said. " But she is young and innocent. She deserves happiness and I can't give her that. "

Aastha and Shaan , both had left an irreparable scar on Shaurya reason for his regressive thinking and Anokhi just became a pawn in this whole scenario .

Shourya rejected Anokhi just after marrying her and now he is regretting not listening to his dad .
