A REVIEW OF SHASTRI SISTERS

Shastri Sisters is a story which revolves around four sisters, Alka (Neha Pednekar), Anushka (Ishita Gangopadhyay), Devyani (Sonal Vengulaker), and Peeya (Pragati Chourasiya) from Kanpur, who move to Delhi when Narayan Shastri (Rajesh Jais), their father, gets a transfer. The story focuses on the twists and turns the four sisters experiences in their life.

PART 1- A NEW JOURNEY OF THE SISTERS

Living in a small and beautiful town like Kanpur the girls had no heart to leave the town where they were born and bought up. But they were also excited to move on to a modernized and metropolitan city like delhi. shastriji's friend sareen assured him that he will help him settling in delhi with all their requirements and he also gave his upper portion to shastriji and his daughters. The girls were all ready to move and were busy in packing the things but they had no heart to go. Shastriji went to delhi one day before to set everything for his daughters. Next day the girls started boarding on train. In train a middle aged boy started fighting with peeya informing her that it is not her place but his place. The other three sisters came to defend piya finally with the help of ttr it was confirmed that the place was piya's. Then the boy moved to his seat. At midnight the same guy came in search of his bag but everyone misunderstood that he was misbehaving and they let him out of train in midway. Finally the sisters reached delhi. When they entered sareen house minty received them and aksed them to go upstairs where they were going to live. They were scared seeing someone. When they saw his face it was the same guy who misbehaved with them. Then they came to know that the boy was no one else than sareen's second son neil sareen. Minty sareen's wife thought these girls to be smart and started to have some hatred to them. Anushka and devyani joined the college where neil too studied. Neil asusual like all spoiled college student behaved silly with shastri sisters like teasing them, ragging in college and even once he behaved too harsh with peeya which made devyani to slap him. Inorder to take revenge on her he made one of his friends to call her infront of everyone during a function and palced her mobile infront of mike to spoil her image but the sisters together found the culprit. Sareen felt ashamed for his son and felt upset meanwhile minty's hate for the girls had grown up.

Alka the elder daughter of the family got a love proposal from Rajeev. Intitally she rejected but as time passed she accepted his proposal. Minty who came to know this made an idea and asked shastriji that she has got a good marriage proposal for alka and asked them to see if they wish. Minty's plan was to make alka low infront of her family telling that she love's someone else. Meanwhile hari shankar pandey family who minty showed for proposal came to see alka but alka did not wish that proposal. Finally alka confessed to her father that she loves Rajeev. Shastriji who always thinks anu to be a matured girl in his family and asks her decision and she asks his father to go and speak to rajeev's family. Here in Rajeev home rajeev's father speaks ill about alka and disrespects shastriji hearing this alka rejects Rajeev and wholeheartedly accepts rohan pandey. She also tells about her past love to rohan. At first he keeps silent then accepts alka. Their wedding preprations starts on full swing.On other side neil gets attracted to devyani.

I wish at some point the writers actually looked at a summary like this-

to see what their story was about & what they are doing!😕

thanks for your comment leela i just made this to dedicate this for our cast members... do u know something when i started to type the summary of ss i didnt even think for a mind wat is the next scene that much im memorised with this serial but at the same time i felt bad when i felt their was ntg in detail to exp abt our show
