There is always another side to every person.
I am in a way happy cvs r showing the other side in the sisters relationship

Jealousy , misunderstandings, anger, and even betrayals happen in sister relationship. Everything is not hunky dory all the time for all.

For the first time cvs has ventured into the territory of showing how one sister eager to take the place of her dead sister and is not even a wee bit happy when she comes know that her sister may be alive and how the sisters have forgotten their dead sister and moved on in life.

Such things happen in real life , and by showing such things I don't think cvs is entirely out of line

I am happy cvs dared to show this and though we hate certain characters now , such characters exist in real life

Hopefully Anu will realise that her sisters/ father after all did not deserve such fierce loyalty from her

Cvs will ultimately redeem the sisters charater and show them in good light in the end but what they did during such times as these will eventually determine their character for us

Totally agree with you . . They don't deserve Anu's loyalty any more .. . But I'm sure cvs will manage to forgive all of them!!! And Anu will be the greatest Queen of Mahanta again !!

@Radhika_R

This is why this serial has me watching it despite all the inconsistencies and madcap plots. It does have a flash of real life and real emotion in it. Alka is always thinking of herself (in a self-centred but not malicious way), Anu is the eternal do-gooder, Devyani is the street-smart sharp person and peeya is the wall flower, never seen but always in the background. Even ShastriJi's words in yesterday's epi, in retrospect, don't seem all that unusual. One daughter is (supposedly) dead, let the other one atleast have happiness. It is a slice of life, in truth - it's just that sometimes we want to see the right things done, atleast in a make-believe world.

Good post.
I am happy that you are writing about this.

Yes. I do believe that sisters' life isn't full of roses.

But whatever happens between them they share a gr8 bonding. Sisterhood is one of the purest relationships. Love, loyality between a family members is a must. So I don't think Anu should blame her family for moving on in life after thinking that she is dead.

If the director was clever he would have portrayed Devyani's character to be emotionally conflicted by the current situation instead of making her look outright selfish and jealous.

I think Devyani does love her sister in her own way. In such a situation her character should have mixed feelings. Happiness and hope that her sister might be alive and disappointment that yet again she might not get married to the guy for whom we are assuming she still harbors some feelings and better yet even feeling guilty at the occurence of such a thought.

This time she was failed by poor direction.
