Is it so difficult to see VD and RD in roles that are not romantic?
There are ample scripts out there with repetitive screenplays of dupattas tugging, ultra-long stares, wobbly and clumsy heroines who keep falling in the hero's super strong arms. If the leads have chosen such a script, it's because they wanted to showcase their talent in a diverse platform. As loyal fans, we should have appreciated their acting in a difficult and different form.
And it is because of immature audiences like us that such good actors do regressive and repetitive roles and Indian TV doesn't have much appreciation worldwide, as compared to the diverse content of American, British or even Pakistani shows.
After all, they have bills to pay and stomachs to fill.
@bold no one wants that. We are not in favor of this type of romance. We know that romance right now is not impossible. All we are asking for is meaningful HaYa which can add on to their journey as a couple and individuals.
RS ma'am was clear when she said that this show is a different type of love story. Something never seen on television. Honestly Harman Soumya have the potential to break all stereotypes attached with romance. They have potential to be the best. And this is what we are asking for. Screen space+good meaningful scenes+and character development. The show has way too much family drama and thats our complain. CVS need to balance it out.
We are proud that RS brought such concept and proud of Vivian Rubina for taking up such different show and roles. It has potential to be their best show. But it can only be possible if they utilize them and this concept in a proper way. Some characters are way too unnecessary like the one of Surbhi, Varun.
