I guess the sindoor is because of Saumya being forcibly married to some deity in Kinnar community, like Devdasis were shown married to Krishna in Krishnadasi.
Saya snatched away the mangalsutra, which suggested that she would be forced to forget her husband.
I hope we se her fighting for her rights, and the last thing possible would be to see some male intersex there trying to woo Saumya. 😕
