Hi...

I got to know from someone that there is an advertisement being aired on tv regarding intersex / transgender rights. Ad starts with a mother giving her child to eunuchs and starts crying. Then police comes and says you cant take that child from parents. Eunuchs say child is rightfully theirs , then police says neither you people nor the society has rights on this child , that child belongs to his/ her parents only. If parents themselves want to give away their child then even they cant do this , they dont have any right to throw their child. People start saying what will that child do , kya hoga iska, ye kya banega . Police man says ye wahi banega jo main hun.

Thats mean police man was also intersex / trans-gender but he studied and got a respectable job, when he can become independent and can get his rights in this society then everyone should get it.

I think this ad is made to create awareness in general public , n not to discriminate intersex ppl from mainstream . they are also part of us.

Does anyone know about this ad or seen it. Coz i only heard about it and want to see it. I tried to search for it but did not get any vdeo. If anyone know about it plz share.

It would be great if you could share the link.
It's a pity that such people are outcasted since birth by their own kith and kin in India and many other Asian countries. There are so many famous personalities who are TG and intersex in the Western countries. Considering the present atmosphere, we have an example of Caitlyn Jenner, the first TG Olympics Gold medalist. I also did read about 2 TG contenders in this year's Olympics as well.

Also the intersex folks abroad don't have any complexes about their identities and lead normal lives and have successful relationships and even marriages with other men, women or intersex people

And all we let such people do in India is dance at the happy occasions of other people. Some who get really influential, enter politics, but that's about it.
