Episode opens with Nimmi redressing Saumya in salwar suit. She asks Saumya why did she choose to live with her father when asked? Saumya says that she has seen how much close Surbhi was to their father. How she always rides her father's back while brushing her teeth, how she always goes to school with him. If they left this house, Surbhi would have missed their father & couldn't be happy without him. So they chose the opposite parents so that they didn't need to leave the house & all could live here together. Nimmi hugs Saumya & cries.
Just then Surbhi returns from school & asks Dadi to give her something to eat. Dadi says why is Surbhi asking her for food? Since she has chosen Nimmi to stay with, she should ask Nimmi to feed her. Dadi then hands her 2 bags & says these bags have all her toys & clothes & she should keep these in Nimmi's part of house only. Nimmi & Saumya comes out while Surbhi checks the two bags' content. She gets very hurt & becomes very furious seeing all her toys torn into pieces. She asks Dadi who tore her toys? Dadi says she doesn't know who did it, but it is most probably Saumya's doing. Saumya tries to say that she didn't do it. Nimmi supports her saying Saumya could never do something like this. This makes Surbhi more furious & she says of course Nimmi will support Saumya, after all Nimmi loves only Saumya, not her. Surbhi runs to her room & see the frock Saumya was wearing on bed. She comes out & asks why her favourite frock is on Nimmi's bed? How did it reach there? Dadi says Saumya wore it &...Surbhi gets more angry & asks Saumya why did she wear her frock? What does she want? Saumya tries to explain but Surbhi pushes her & asks her not to touch her things, not to talk to her & not to come even near to her & storms off. Saumya is hurt & she tries to go after Surbhi so that she could console her. But Dadi stops her & says there's no need to go after Surbhi, rather she should go to her own room. Saumya leaves unwillingly.
Some neighbour comes & asks Nimmi won't she go to the Ashram puja? Nimmi wasn't in mood to go, so she said nope, she won't be able to go. The woman says but Nimmi's mother in law & elder daughter is already there. Why wouldn't Nimmi go? Nimmi is surprised to hear that & asks if they had really gone there. The neighbour says yes, she has seen them to go there while coming to Nimmi. Nimmi asks where this puja is happening? The neighbour says in a nearby ashram. Nimmi turns to Surbhi & says let's go there. But Surbhi refuses to go with Nimmi. Nimmi stops her not to show anger now & to come with her. But Surbhi still refuses. The neighbour then cajoles Surbhi & by speaking to her jovially, gets her ready to come with her. Nimmi, Nani & Surbhi leaves for the ashram with her.
In the Ashram Nimmi sees Saumya sitting with Dadi. Surbhi sits with some other children. Nimmi starts distributing Prasad to people there & looks at Saumya again & again. Saumya also looks at Nimmi's direction & Surbhi notices this. Surbhi fumes thinking Nimmi always cares for Saumya only & never pays attention to Surbhi. In the meantime Dadi goes somewhere & tells Saumya she'll be back soon. Saumya looks at the kids playing nearby & she wanders off. Surbhi notices Saumya going somewhere & follows her. Saumya walks towards the river & Surbhi follows her from behind. Reaching the river Saumya screams her own name & observing the echo she gets excited & starts screaming "Maa" & "Choti" too, oblivious to the fact that her choti was standing just behind her. Surbhi observes Saumya for a while & remembers her torn toys, her frock & all the time Manindar played with Saumya. Surbhi pushes Saumya into the river. Saumya falls down & starts drowning, since she doesn't know to swim. She screams asking for help & few people nearby hears her & come rushing. As people starts to gather Surbhi gets scared. Everyone is seeing Saumya down, but no one's helping. News reaches ashram that someone's kid has fallen down into the river & Nimmi notices Saumya's absence. She gets scared & rushes towards the river. She sees no one is saving Saumya, so she tries to jump into the river. Everyone tries to stop her, she cries & says her kid is drowning & will die if not saved. What will she do living then? She requests people to save Saumya , but no one comes forward. Now Surbhi understands what did she actually do & gets really scared. Nani asks Nimmi to phone Manindar & ask for his help. Nimmi phones Manindar & says that saumya has fallen down into the river & is drowning. She asks manindar to come soon & save Saumya. Manindar asks what? Saumya is drowning? Good riddance it is then! Nimmi is shocked & asks what is he saying? Manindar says it is for everyone's good that they should let Saumya to die. It is good that she's dying before she could shame the family name. Nimmi angrily cuts the call & throws her phone away. She goes back to jump in the river while that police guy jumps in & saves Saumya. He brings her on shore & starts rubbing her stomach to get the water out. Everyone is concerned, & the man who reached the sight first says what has the World come to now! A sister trying to kill her own sister! Surbhi gets really scared now, Nimmi starts protesting that Surbhi can never do such thing, but seeing Surbhi's horrified expression she stops in the middle. Saumya coughs & calls Maa, everyone is relieved, including Surbhi. Manindar now reaches the scene & picks Saumya up & starts saying Thank God Saumya is alive, he was so scared etc etc & starts walking off taking Saumya with him. Nimmi tries to stop him but he asks Nimmi not to create a scene in public & walks off. Nimmi sees Surbhi & asks her if she really pushed Saumya to the river. Surbhi is silent. Nimmi asks again 7 shakes her & now Surbhi starts crying. Nimmi gets sad herself. Dadi comes & scholds Nimmi for accusing Surbhi of such vile work & again tries to poison surbhi against Nimmi. Nimmi takes surbhi's side & says that no, Surbhi didn't push Saumya. It's the anger, jealousy in her that pushed Saumya & for this only dadi & her son are responsible. Nimmi leaves & Nani takes Surbhi with them. Dadi regrets Saumya getting saved & thinks if saumya has dies today, all the problems would have been solved.
Nimmi enters the house & asks Manindar to stop his drama & hand over saumya to her. Manindar refuses & reminds her that it was decided that Saumya will live with him. Nimmi is shocked.

Precap: Saumya & Surbhi are playing with few other children, Surbhi says Saumya should be the bride since she's elder. Saumya dons a red dopatta & Surbhi starts dancing. She grows up while dancing & now the adult Surbhi is dancing in some function 😆. Some lady present there says she has lost her gold chain, someone must have stolen it. She sees a girl going somewhere covering her face in dopatta & she stops the girl & asks her to show her face & starts pulling at her dopatta.
