Preeti’s move makes sense

I started watching this show recently and caught with all the episodes. Preeti coming to ‘rescue’ KT is inline with her character. She is the same women who kept maun wrat ( I am still confused as to how his son didn’t know she could speak and kept maun wrat!! And his OTT reaction to her speaking! But I digress)

When KT was saying you don’t have to worry about me and started giving all the scenarios one by one about how it go real bad for him I knew she would agree to marry him. The argument that probably pushed her to go ahead with the decision was not his apology imo but him saying he had gone into depression for 3 years. Of course the apology would give her the strength to make the decision in that her marrying would be her decision.

Preeti is not kusum who also lost her husband but has his love and good memories which keeps her secured and confident. Her son treats her well and she is the matriarch of the family. Preeti is still learning and she would need kusum’s support always and she also needs KT to fill the emptiness she faced all her life. Everyone deserves to be loved and KTs statement probably made her want to give a chance to be open to such love. But without KT’s giving her a proper reason to marry she would/could have never taken the step. She needs to rationalize her attraction to him. She is very traditional and to fall for another man is unthinkable for her yet she was falling hard for him. She does not openly accept it of course.
any other scenario where her falling in love and then getting married would have been totally out of character. She is not strong ...not yet.

KT clearly did not want to let go of her and this was his way of holding on to her. They both need each other.

What KT said actually could be interrupted two ways. One was him simply opening his heart, being honest and sincere. But the other (which actually happened even if I'm sure he didn't mean it😆) was coercing Preeti into marrying him by means of words.

Preeti obviously never had been at receiving end of such respect and friendship. Her deprived self feels compelled to return this favour bestowed on her after all these years, and ofcourse the fact that she actually wants to know how it feels to loved too.

This is one hell of a complicated relationship😆

Great Insight TM. I didn't think of it like this.

This seems to make sense as why Preeti would agree to marry KT.

@BOLD - omgg thats exactly how I felt. I couldn't articulate it well, but had the same exact feelings.

Either KT was being completely honest with her (which he probably was), on the other hand his honestly put Preeti in a position wherein she had to agree to get married to him. Preeti cares a great deal for KT, and she didn't wanna leave him, like his ex-wife did years ago.. I guess she was being a good partner, business partner or life partner lol. KT didn't wanna let go of Preeti as their "partnership" was to end after today, so he wanted to hold on to her in anyway he could think. Idk this is definitely one heck of a complicated relationship.

Idk what to think. I think both KT and Preeti care a great deal for each other and definitely respect each other a lot too, and share a great friendship. I am not so sure about love. I would love to witness Preeti fully falling in love with KT on her own, her realization and love confession is what I would like to witness to be very honest.

The brilliant performances by the actors, mainly Rati Pandey, I watched the episodes so many times 😆. Damn the way Rati emoted just through her eyes, facial expression and body language without uttering a single word was just brilliant. Such a great performer 👏👏. It was unnecessarily a very dramatic episodes, but the actors performances made it watchable

I think in some ways it kind fits both their personalities and the stage of life they're in to marry someone for companionship and understanding, not romance or 'love'. That will grow over time. It's about second chances for both of them and a way to purge the trauma and bad memories by doing something together.

Preeti and KT and have understood that the other person is respectful and has integrity, which they never saw in their previous spouses. The wedding itself and this entire sequence is dramatic but it's also a way to show that sometimes you shouldn't overthink and go with what your heart says. Preeti took this step without worrying about 'log kya kahenge'. Rather, she was affected by KT's honesty when he spoke his mind without offering a rosy picture. Kusum's words also left their imprint on her mind, when she encouraged Preeti to grab the happiness knocking at her door for herself this time and not care about others.

I think both of them will learn all over again what it means to have a real marriage, be real spouses. Preeti can be herself and maintain her independence and identity while still being a good wife to KT, while KT can also be his real self with her and not have to worry about keeping up appearances with her/putting on a mask as he does in public. It can't be easy for a celebrity to always have to worry about his public image and not have breathing room for mistakes or low moments.

I personally prefer slow burn over fireworks, so I have no problem with the CVs taking their time to develop this story.

Yes Jean. You have articulated it really well 👏👏.

This is the perspective I would like to go by as to why they both decided to marry the other. There is immense respect for each other in their relationship, and that is one of the most imp thing in a marriage, esp at the stage they are both in. Love and Romance will follow like you said. I am also looking forward to their love story to start, slow burning romance ☺️.
