Manav Gohil was born at Surendranagar in Gujarat, later moved to Vadodara for his education. He completed Bachelor in Commerce and then MBA from Vadodara. He is married to TV actress Shweta Kawatra. They participated in the dance competition show Nach Baliye 2 where Manav was awarded best dancer by Saroj Khan. The couple became parents to a daughter on 11 May 2012.

Rajshree Thakur (born 22 September 1981) is an Indian actress best known for her role as Saloni in the Hindi television drama Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar. She was born in Mumbai. Before Saat Phere, she worked at All India Radio as a Marathi newsreader and did ads for companies. Rajshree acted in the Indo-French film Hava Aney Dey directed by Partho Sen-Gupta. She married her childhood friend Sanjot Vaidya in 2007
