Thanks Nets...I agree, there is no point doing updates if there are no comments/appreciation.

I think Saba's MIL is a typical jealous villi...I hope Deivaanai really is Sivagami's daughter...I think Kanchana definitely is too

Thanks da Brinny! I've never watched this serial before, but read the updates a couple of times though. So i'm not really familiar with all the characters, but based on the update this is what I get:

Lakshimi + husband - adopted Kanchana; they are afraid of losing her esp. after hearing that they might have committed a crime in the past. I guess when Kanchana finds what the matter is, there might be a lot of problems, heart breaks in all 😭??

Sakthi and her mom Sivagami live with Saba and his family; but Saba's MIL, Deivayani isn't font of them staying with them as she thinks Sakthi might steal Saba. My question is how is Sakthi related to Saba? And why are they staying with them? Sakthi mentiones about her siblings to Saba, so where are her siblings?

Is Saravanan related to any of the above characters or is it a side tract as well?....

No probs Aish..here goes:

Sivagami had five children, of which Shakthi is the fourth child. When her husband died, they were left poor, then Sivagami found out that she had a heart problem which could kill her any time. As she had no money or home, she gave her children away for adoption - as she is living on a time bomb, at least her kids would have security. Then she tries to commit suicide, but is saved. The couple who adopted Shakthi hear about this and give Shakthi back to her. She does not know where her other children are, but we, as viewers know that the eldest is Gaya, and second one is Kannan. We still don't know about the other two duaghters. (But I have a suspicion that Kanchana is the youngest daughter)

Shakthi witnessed a murder and she and Sivagami were being chased by rowdies. Saba helped them along the way, and they are staying with him.

Saravanan is Gaya's husband...so he is Sivagami's son in law, but they don't know that yet!

I think that Deivayani's mother is absolutely jealous/worried of Sivagami and Shakti's constant attention to her grandchild which she and Deivayani fail to do so.

Of course she doesn't want S & S to be in the good books of her SIL too coz it only further proves that they are neglecting in taking care of the little girl.😃
