TUESDAY UPDATE 01.07.2008
Scene continues with Sakthi telling her mother about the deposit. Since its a large amount and though its refundable, she knows they can't pay such amount. Sakthi tells her mother she will look for another job. Mother ask how much is salary here. Sakthi says its twelve thousand. Mother says she is happy sakti has got a nice job and its here in chennai. So mother suggest to her daughter to try borrow money and pay the deposit first and then later she can repay the debt back. Sakthi says its not possible as they don't have any thing to pawn for 50 thousand. Sivagami tells her don't worry. There must be a wasy for all this. Sivagami wants her daughter to get this job which will make her happy and will give safetly for their life. Sivagami ask her daughter to go and have her lunch and she will be back in while. Sakthi ask her mother if she is going to borrown money. From who is she going to borrow? Sakthi tells her mother no need as next week she will attend another interview. Sivagami ask her not to worry and she will try to get the money for Sakthi. Mother leaves and Sakthi looks at her mother lovinly.
Sivagami goes and meet an old man at his office. She tells him about Sakthi's job and the deposit. She is hoping if he can help her out. The man feels happy Sakthi got the job but he is unable to help her out. Sivagami ask him to try his best. After a while, the man tells her he knows a guy who gives out money for vatti but the vatti is really high. Sivagami agrees. The old man makes a call.
Sakthi is waiting at her new office to pay the deposit money. (Looks like sivagami borrowed the money from the vatti guy). A guy comes out and ask Sakthi what she wants. She tells him that she came for interview 3 days ago and now she is here to pay the security deposit money. The guy ask her to wait and goes in to inform the manager. Manager ask him if its the Ambethairam Party, and the guy says yes. (I think this company is going to cheat Sakthi). Sakthi is asked to come in the room. Sakthi happily pays him the money. Manager gives the money to the guy and ask him to pass it to Accounts department. Manager tells Sakthi that HR manager is not here today and ask her to came back on Monday to collect the appoinment letter. Sakthi says okay and she leaves. (This girl is soooo nut😡, she did not take any receipt as proof😡). Sakthi leaves. The guy comes in back and gives the money to the manager. He laughs happily. Manager tells the guy there is another few other girls suppose to pay the deposit money. Once all collected, both of them can escape. 😡
Sakthi is at the same office talking to the manager. She says that she come last monday to collect the letter but he ask her to came in one week time. Now its been more that a week, but she has not receive her appoinment letter. Sakthi tells him she is worried now that the manager says it will take one month. Manager ask Sakthi not to worry as her job is confirmed. He is still waiting confirmation from the head office on what position and which department she is suppose to be. Sakthi tells him that she is very worried and she needs to know a confirm date on when she can start the job. Manager says it will take 3 months. Sakthi tells him its okay. She wants him to refund back the money as right now, if she does not get the job, it will be hard for them to repay the vatti money. Manager tells her is impossible to refund suddenly. There is procedure for all this. Sakthi raise her voice and ask if they are cheating her.
Manager calms her down and tells her now what she wants. Okay if she wants her money, she can came back next week and collect her money. Sakthi tells him she can't trust him anymore. She needs the money right now. Manager calls the office boy to chase Sakthi out from this office 😡. Sakti shouts at him and tells him she will not leave him and goes out crying.
Venkat is with his friends. They are happy as since morning, Venkat has been treating them with food. Morning breakfast, then lunch, now coconut drink. Friends are confused and ask him whats the matter. Venkat says nothing, just for frienship sake his doing all this. But actually Venkat has something in mind. He tells his friends that Sivagami is doing insurance. So he wants all his friends to take policy from Sivagami, atleast that will be an income for Sivagami. His friends tries to escape but Venkat carries on persuading them. (This episode with his friends is a total waste😡)
Sakthi cames back crying and tells everything to Sivagami. Sivagami is shock and upset. She does not know what to do. Thodarum.
