I think things are pretty clear now....how sad... can't believe this actually happened... Chaitanya proved he was no better than his father...wonder who was that girl... I always felt she was very much in love with Chay so was shocked when separation was announced. Only something drastic could have made her do this. The sudden separation got to me.

If Chay is really involved with another girl, it is so heartbreaking for Sam. They had such a long history. Never thought Chay would do this. Probably wouldn't be surprised if it was some other actor but him😒

If its really true, then its better they separate than pretend to be happy

But who is the girl? Never heard any rumour about him in this matter

The baby news is probably right as Sam's next flim producer gave an interview on this.

I can see efforts are being made to keep things under wraps. May be because of his family status, no local media is writing about this openly. Otherwise I don't think Nag family would stay silent after all these.

Nag family (including Chay) is pretending as if nothing has happened..this is really strange. No matter how professional you are still it is a divorce, and end of a decade-long relationship but their behaviour is very normal.😒

Yes... Till June July it was the rumour that Sam will be having baby and that is why she is not taking up any new projects.. strange.... really..

With all this news it does seem like Sam's career may not be the reason.

@bold- Yup! There is unusual silence from Akkineni family. Chay too appears quite normal. They happily hosting Amir khan just a few days before this announcement and all. It seems they are trying very hard to be appear normal. I am not saying he should look sad everywhere or something but atleast they shouldn't pretend like it was no big deal.

Probably they want this issue to be forgotten as early as possible. Moreover I didn't find any article linking Chay to anyone, is it because things are kept under wraps or he genuinely didn't have an affair don't know.

Also there was an article I saw where Sam's stylist said he was disappointed with Chay's silence regarding link up rumours of him and Sam.

There has been always so much posted about them but with separation everyone seems to have gone silent

chaitanya was surprisingly lowkey in terms of affairs. I don’t remember him having affairs with actresses but i guess maybe he was dating someone not in spotlight after his father’s history.

What surprised me in SamChay’s divorce is chaitanya actually comes across as a sorted mature individual and I remember this interview where he said, he understands the hardwork sam has put into her career without any privileges he had so it is unfair on his part to ask her to stop acting. That’s why this him having career issue is not making sense to me.

And sam is not a person who would cheat for all her faults, and chay also could be classier and better than that. My bet is maybe the family and Sam didn’t see eye to eye on few of the things and chay sided with family ? I think maybe the family didn’t like her being bold and stuff and it might have rubbed wrong way to sam and there might be some harsh words exchanged. I wished chay turned out different from his family. Huh guess they all stock together at the end of the day ig

@bold-Exactly!!! I too remember that interview. To be honest I loved what he said. Not only that during Majili flim promotion also I felt Chay is very serious about his marriage. Sam on the other hand seemed little immature (still in girlfriend zone) and extremely possessive about Chay. It is very hard to even imagine that Chay would do something which would completely destroy his marriage.

I don't know why I feel it was Sam who wanted this divorce and Chay just agreed. But what led Sam to take such drastic step is something probably we will never get to know.

But one thing I noticed during Majili interviews, specially the one with Divyansha Kaushik, Sam was very possessive about Chay and I found her very rude with Divyansha atleast during that interview it was pretty visible. May be this over possessiveness led to this separation. I don't think there was any family issue at all. In my opinion Chay has a strong personality, it is very unlikely that he would get influenced by his family.

I have always felt it was Sam who got married to Chay and now when they are seperated it is only Sam's divorce. Atleast all the PR activities are from her side.
