Madhurima looked up and saw the tree's green leaf-filled branches filled with flowers and ripe neem fruit. She saw the hundreds of birds sitting there dropping flowers on them and for a second she imagined that the heavens had opened their magic portal doors and were raining flowers on her and Ravi along with their best wishes and blessings.

While Madhu was looking enjoying the shower of Madhuvanti flowers Ravi's eyes were full of her as he stood staring at her thinking that she was the most beautiful flower and soul in his world.

Madhu's eyes that were looking up at the illusion that was the skies and heaven above her suddenly looked down and catching sight of Ravi looking at her whispered, ' You are my heaven and you are my hell and at all times both combined.'

He smiled and nodded but she was in no mood to let him go. So, throwing her arms around his waist, she asked him, ' I said it. I expressed it. But you just smiled and nodded.'

Ravi looked at her and as was his wont, waited patiently for Madhu to frame her thoughts into a better question or questions and all he got was a growl from her.

' Okay, I will bite, Master sir, and ask the right questions? she said with a slight smile and stopped and then asked, ' Will you answer them honestly?'

Her slight smile was reflected with more intensity in his own eyes than his lips as they answered with a simple yes.

Madhu opened her beautiful mouth to voice her question but he covered it with his and kissed her and kept kissing her and they stood kissing for a long time.

Then he stepped back ' This is my heaven, Madhu. You are my heaven. But you are also my hell ' and raising his right hand pointed towards Kumarapalayam and then shaking his head raised both his hands and said, ' After you left, everything about my life became a nightmare, a burden that had to be borne for I was lost. Totally lost as to what to do and how to do it.'

He looked at her and said, ' Heaven when in love and hell when your love is gone, broken down. But, even in those hellish and most painful moments, it was your love, your grace, the memories of you, the taste of your mouth, and the sounds of your songs that made my nightmare bearable.'

Bending his head, ' Ma'am, this then is my answer about heaven and hell and when they both are combined.'

Far away another deadly combination of heaven and hell in the form of Meenakshi slowly got out of the Black Mercedes that had brought her to the location and stood carefully surveying her surroundings.

There are endings. There are beginnings. Sometimes they coincide, with the ending of one thing marking the beginning of another. But sometimes there is simply a long space after an ending, a time when it seems everything else has ended and nothing else can ever begin.
