There is that moment when love becomes a bubble and ensconces the ones who created it. Daylight, it does not matter. People all around you, no problem. Rain, thunder, and lightning, no problem. For lovers in their own love bubble pay no heed to this world for they have transported themselves to another dimension.

She was seeing him, his light, his aura, and her broken piece of soul that she had left behind in Kumarapalayam all those years ago and she was seeing the man and the boy.

She held his face in her hands and stared into his eyes and whispered, ' The boy and the man but the same eyes and I see the same soul in them.'

Her eyes glittered with unborn tears from parents whose names were happy and sad and in a choking voice told him, ' I have heard it being said a million times. I have read it thousands of times and have caught a glimpse of it in a few movies. But only now I realize what that word really means.'

Ravi smiled but said nothing and instead let his eyes do the talking for he knew that she knew that language of his soul.

Madhu read his question in his eyes and answered with one word, ' Home.'

He did not realize that his eyebrows had furrowed in a subtle and slight manner but she did for she was the master of his soul and she knew that language of his heart for she was both his language and heart.

' Your arms feel like stone walls that protect those who dwell inside the home they have built. But, I know now what that home really means. It is not the home of mere life and of humans. It is that home from which all life ventures out and to that home that all life in the end will eventually return to. It is the home that makes sense of it all and inside which you are at peace and without any thoughts or questions.'

Ravi smiled and gently kissed her forehead and said, ' I thought I was empty and lonely all this while. But only now do I realize the full depth of my solitary confinement. Only now with you in my arms do I feel complete for what is a home in the end after all without spirits living inside them.'

He smiled, ' I thought I knew what hell was but only now standing with you, a piece of heaven in my arms and in my heart do I fully understand what I had lost and what had been taken away from me.

She, the wandering spirit had returned to her home, her body and he who had been shuffling around like a zombie had been finally fused together with his broken soul.

Now they were two no more. They were one of body and one of spirit.

' Shall we go home?' Ravi whispered softly with his eyes and Madhu's face bloomed like a bud that had finally felt the first rays of the sun after a long wait, and seeing it, he said, ' A beautiful rose that grows more beautiful by the moment.'

She smiled and whispered back, ' No Jaanu, I don't want to be your rose ' and Ravi smiled when others in his place would have expressed curiosity, or some degree of confusion rather than smile like he was doing right at that moment.

' You are my sun. So that makes me your flower. A sunflower' and pausing for a moment, she looked at him with love and admiration and continued, ' The actual sunflower got its name because it always faces the sun no matter where its position is in the sky but this flower has been facing you all of this life and from the time it met you.'

Taking his hand and placing it on her heart, ' Even when darkness took me into its arms and even when life felt like hell, you kept shining for me ' and using his hand to pat her chest, ' right here. In my heart and as my heart. That is why I am and I remain and I have returned to you.'

Raising her hand to his lips, he kissed it softly, ' I promise to be that and do that with my last, dying breath.'

Madhurima smiled and turned to Malar, ' I will be traveling with Mr. Ravi in his vehicle. Will that be of any inconvenience for you?'

Malar felt it but did not say it for she knew that Madhu was not going to be alone and that she would be well protected by Ravi who was going to be right next to her. From the few minutes of her meeting him and after the few moments of witnessing their interaction, she knew that he would die before he let any harm come to her and that was a big if and a question mark for he looked like a person who would calmly and with a smile face and stare down a charging pachyderm.

' No, ma'am. Please go ahead and I will follow you in the car ' and quickly walked to where she had parked her car.

Ravi Kumar turning to Madhu, ' I can offer protection but not from dust and noise pollution, ma'am.'

She held his hand firmly and puffed the strands of hair away from her left cheek, ' With you by my side, I will walk into a raging bonfire with a smile. I don't mind dust, noise, or anything as long as you are by my side. '

Ravi thanked her and was about to turn to leave when he saw Kutty who was standing next to the hotel owner Shivarman and smiled and walked up to him and putting his hand out, greeted him, ' Good morning, young man. My name is Ravi Kumar.'

Kutty smiled and looked at Madhu who suddenly remembered what the little boy had told her the previous morning and said, ' Kutty, child. Yesterday morning, you informed me about a great man who had suffered some accident and had been admitted to that Government Hospital.'

Kutty nodded and Madhu pointed to Ravi, ' That is him, that great man, great teacher, and who you called Vaathiyar.'

The mere mention of the name Vaathiyar seemed to have a visible effect on both Kutty and his employer Shivaraman and the little one looked up into the eyes of the Headmaster and folding his hands asked, ' Iyaa, will you be my Vaathiyar too?'

Ravi went down on one knee and smiled and said, ' Yes, child. I will be your teacher and master. But, please don't call me Vaathiyar for that title belongs to a great man and suits only him and no one else.'
