OMGGG.. just came back from 3.. I lovedd it.. loved loved loved it.. I laughed when the characters laughed, I cried when they cried.. It was a very thoughtful film..read for the review... EEEKSS I'm so happpy.. I watched it..
Story: a very different and innovative concept.. The story is sweet, simple and complicated at the same time.. you are excited, you are thrilled.. The story holds the film together and it holds you into the movie too.. you don't lose interst in it.. Infact, you are curious to know what is going to happen...The story and genre is different for the tamil audience as I see it.. I'm not Tamil and I'm not even Indian.. so I see the film as a neutral person.. but as long as I know the tamil audience they don't readily accept such genres.. but these films are important.. for awareness for entertainment purposes.. I hope that people accept such genres/stories and 3 become a super duper success..
Dhanush: What do I say about this incredible man.. he is immensely talented..he is brilliant.. he carries the film on his shoulders no second thoughts about it..The 12th standard school boy, the married man, the helpless Bipolar patient.. he does everything with excellence..He cries and he makes you cry.. he makes you smile with his adorable expressions.. You feel his pain, his misery, you wanna help him but at the same time you wanna make him free.. Another national award worthy performance.. Dhanush rocksss...⭐️⭐️
Shruti Haasan: I never knew the girl could act.. she tried her best to match upto the brilliant Dhanush but we all know that is next to impossible.. But she was very good.. She made me cry in the climax..She and Dhanush make a very good looking pair.. She played Janani with ease..and was very much convincing..three cheers to Shruti for giving such performance at a very early stage of her career.. she is a capable actress..and she is very pretty..
Prabhu, Senthil, Kumaran: Dhanush's friends were hillarious.. especially the guy who played Kumaran.. he had me in splits..the guy who played Senthil was pretty good too.. I wish they showed more of Kumaran guy.. Prabhu not alot was given to him but he was fine in whatever he did..
Direction: Splendid direction, no nonsense, no dragging... the movie was a little long but If I it a thought there was actually nothing you omit from the movie.. everything was very vital to the story.. I loved how all the songs were situational and nothing popped up for no reason.. The girl needs recognition, If she can make such a movie the very first time then she is capable of alot.. Brilliant again..👏
Not to miss moments: SPOILER STARTS - The scene where Dhanush hits his friend with the alcohol bottle and the chair and what not 😲 I was shocked.. he is such a good actor.. OMGG.. then before that when he laughs like crazy.. he made me scared.. I was like what is wrong with him.. When he is writing the letter before suiciding.. his expressions, his responses to the imaginative people..the club fight when he keeps hitting his head against the car 😲😲.. When he stands in the hall for almost the whole night with no expressions on his face.. all blank.. He was excellent in every single scene after the intermission..Him as the school boy, a guy who is helplessly in love with a girl... When he comes to meet Janani for the first time at her terrace.. When he tells her to go to US.. Exceptional.. SPOILER ENDS
Final Verdict: GO FOR IT.. it is a very very very good movie.. Dhanush is a star.. an actor Tamil industry should be proud of.. be it kokki kumar of pudhupettai, K P Karrupu of Aadukalam, Karthik of Mayakkam Enna or Ram of 3.. he out does himself with each movie passing.. Shruti another star of the movie..the supporting cast, the direction.. the songss.. YESSS.. the songss.. Honestly 3 is one of the best tamil movies made and I have watched.. It was different.. It's not just another movie.. It's special.. 4.5/5 I LOVEDDD ITTT..
