i agree with this opinion, thats why i wonder what actually happened. was she really fed up of not wanting to pursue her desires post marriage or she was in relationship? and post marriage, it seems like the mother raises the child and the father is working only and would yell at the mother for not raising the child properly...or how post marriage she gave birth but because the child is of the family, therefore the disinterest..Originally posted by: mango.falooda
Unpopular opinion here -- this happens more often than you think. Basically the dynamics between spouses impact the relationship with the child. So if a parent does not like the spouse, they don't like the child as much because it reminds them of their spouse.
It also happens if there is split parenting in the house. Basically one partner is essentially there like a dummy piece while only one parent is actively involved. So a distance happens -- usually this is with fathers but it can also happen with mothers like we see with Amal and her mom.
Basically the drama is showing how dysfunctional families exist and the dynamics and fallout.
