Aug 17

Chacha continues his talking and Geeta slowly bends down and picks up the plate he threw down. She kisses it while Chacha looks at her amused. She then raises her hand and comes down hard on Chacha's face. He is stunned and so is everyone else. Ranjit almost faints. Geeta says that she doesn't have any respect for him who has no respect for God. Chacha thinks that Chachi was right about her and that she is flying high. He thinks back to the time he used to hit Seeta with a hunter and she cried and begged for mercy. He goes and picks up the hunter and decides to hit Dadi with it since he says Dadi is the cause of Seeta's rebellion. But Geeta takes the hunter from him and starts beating him. Dadi is shocked and upset by it. Sonia comes in the middle and asks Geeta to stop and takes Chacha away from there. Geeta tries to talk to Dadi but Dadi wheels herself out and Geeta feels that she may have gone overboard.

Raka and Chotu are talking like drunkards in front of Seeta and she is smiling amused at them. Raka asks her why she is laughing and she asks how they can be drunk after drinking regular drink. Raka straightens up and asks what does she mean and she says she had thrown out the bhang since its not good to drink and what they drank was plain 'thandai'. Then Raka asks how come they are behaving like drunks then. Seeta smiles more and says that they thought they were drunk because they thought they drank bhang. Suddenly a boy comes and says there is a call for Raka. Raka gets happy thinking that the call is from his home after a long time. Seeta and Chotu follow him. The phone is from his dad who tells him that his mother is seriously ill and wants to see him. Raka gets serious (BTW Raka's real name is Rakesh) and decides to go immediately but think that he can't leave Geeta alone because she is still not well. So he asks Seeta to come along with him. Seeta agrees and says she can take care of his mother too but then she thinks of her own family and asks Raka to give her a little time she has to do something before she comes with him.

Sonia is putting medicine on Chacha's wounds and they discuss about change in Seeta. Geeta walks in and tells Chacha that since Chachi ran away now he'll be the one to do all the chores in the house and Ramu kaka will be off for a few days. And as a start she tells him to downstairs and stand with Dadi as she gives out clothes to the poor, so that they feel like a complete family.

Seeta comes back to her house and notices the crowd and hears two people saying how the Dadi of the house is giving out clothes after so many years. Seeta can't believe it and tries to see for herself but she is unable to see Geeta who is being hidden by the crowd. Dadi then tells Geeta to go inside and Ramu kaka will help in distributing the clothes (she is still angry with Geeta). After Geeta leaves Seeta is able to see more clearly that Dadi is infact giving out the clothes and Chacha and Sonia are standing with her. She is happy thinking that everything has changed in her house and prays that they remain happy like that.

Aug 18

Geeta is sitting in Dadi's room and wonders why Dadi sent her away. Dadi comes and Geeta asks what she wanted to say and asks if Chacha or Ranjit said anything and she'll take care of them. But Dadi tells her to stop in a stern voice and she comes back. Dadi takes a red bundle and gives it to Geeta and tell her she had collected some jwelery for her and she wants her to keep it safely as there is no guarantee of her life anymore. Geeta asks Dadi to keep it but Dadi tells her then to put it in the safe and gives her the keys. Geeta takes the bundle and goes but Dadi suddenly says "you are not my Seeta". Geeta is shocked and comes back. Dadi looks at her says that Seeta who used to be scared to even look at Chacha cannot change so much that she will raise her hand on that Chacha. She tells Geeta that she had given a similar bundle to Seeta when she left and if she was Seeta she would know that.

Geeta tells Dadi the truth about how the police mistook her and explains that she stayed only because of Dadi and Bablu and their love as she had never experienced such love. Dadi says that her lies are bigger than her tears so to make up for it she has to find Seeta now. Geeta promises to find Seeta but Dadi is still angry with her. She tells her not to reveal anything to anyone till Seeta is found as then Bablu will be hurt and Chacha will also get an excuse to change back to his old ways.

Geeta comes out and talks to her parent's portrait and feels guilty for hurting Dadi. She thinks how she will find Seeta and thinks of Raka as the only person who can help her. She calls a phone number in the basti and asks for Raka. Ranjit who was walking by stops to evesdrop. The guy who picks up says that Raka is not in the basti and left in the bus and he doesn't know where he went. Geeta wonders where Raka went and sees Ranjit evesdroping. She sends him away and Ranjit comes and tells Chacha. They think that Raka is the person who is the reason for Seeta's change. Chacha tells Ranjit to find out the number from Geeta's cell phone.

Raka and Seeta come to his village. Raka is dressed up well with a tie. He tells Seeta to go along with whatever he says and to remain the calm person she has been for the past few days and not to turn into the basti-wali Geeta. Seeta nods and they knock on the door. Raka's mother opens the door and he is shocked that she is well. His father also comes and greets him and tells him that they lied because they want him to get married now. Raka introduces Seeta as Geeta his business partner. He tells his parents that they do import-export by buying other people's stuff and selling it for a higher price. Raka's parents insist that he will get married soon though he makes excuses and tell him that tomorrow someone is coming to see him.

Ranjit at night, sneaks into Geeta's room and finds her mobile and tries to copy the number but Geeta comes back and kicks him out. She wonders what he was doing in her room and finds her mobile.

Aug 19

Chacha and Ranjit come to the basti to look for Raka and try asking someone. One person was sitting with a blanket on and they try to ask but it turns out to be Geeta. They both get scared and Geeta threatens them that if they have not finished the work she assigned them then she'll take out her hunter again. They leave and Geeta wonders how to get in touch with Raka.

Raka is worried and Seeta asks if its because of the marriage proposal. Raka says he is not worried because his parents lied to him but because he lied to them about his profession. He tells Seeta that he had left the village 10 years ago with big dreams but became nothing and didn't want to disappoint his parents. He thinks the only solution is to leave from there that night secretly. But Seeta dissuades him saying that his parents would be more disappointed if they figured out his lie and in front of that their disappointment about his failure would be nothing.

Chachi comes back and sees someone cleaning the floor. She thinks its Ramu kaka but turns out to be Chacha. She tries to run back to her mayka but Chacha tells her that together they will teach Seeta a lesson. He doesn't let her go.

Seeta comes to help Raka's mother in the kitchen and she asks if Raka is interested in any girls in the city and that's why he is reluctant to get married. Seeta denies it and says that Raka just wasn't prepared for it because he thought you were sick. Raka's father comes looking for him and says he can't find him anywhere. Seeta thinks about what he said earlier about leaving secretly. She volunteers to go look for him. His parents tell hre that there are usually two places he hangs out, one by the river and the other by the ruins. They send Seeta to the ruins with another girl.

Seeta is looking for Raka and sees and shadow and follows it but that guy gets scared and runs. Finally when Seeta catches up she hears Raka's voice from behind who tells her that the guy is crazy. Seeta asks him about it and he says this guy came floating in the river to this village and he was crazy when he got conscious. They leave from there and the guy gets up and uncovers his face. Its Seeta and Geeta's father and they show flashbacks of Seeta's childhood with her parents.

Next morning Raka tells the truth about his work in front of the family that comes to see him and his parents. Everyone is shocked and his father slaps him.

Aug 20

Raka's father is very angry and disappointed. The girl's family leaves in anger. Raka's father tells him to leave the house at once. Raka walks out on the street and people make fun of him.

Geeta is thinking that Ganesh chathurdi is coming soon and she has promised Dadi that she'll find Seeta by then as its her birthday. But she thinks how its possible and who will help her. Just then Suraj walks in and tells her he came to invite her and her family for the pooja at his house on Ganesh chaturdi. Geeta tells him she'll try but can't promise. Suraj thinks she is upset about that night but Geeta tells him she can't talk about that now as she is too tensed. He offers to help but Geeta refuses. He tells her that he had gotten a gift for her that night and leaves it on the table. She looks at the bracelet he got her and says sorry for hurting his feelings.

Seeta goes looking for Raka again in the ruins and finds her father's leg stuck under a rock. She tries to help him but the rock is too heavy. She keeps trying until her hand slips and her head falls on the rock and she starts to feel dizzy. She keeps looking at her father's face who is looking at her. Raka walks by there and sees Seeta unconscious and threatens the old man thinking he did something to her. He carries Seeta to a mandir. The pandit puts some medicine on her and tells Raka to relax. He says that she had gotten hurt on the head before so he is worried. Seeta slowly opens her eyes and remembers trying to help her father. She remembers his face and gets flashbacks of her childhood with her parents. She starts to believe that the old man was her father. She gets up and runs back to the ruins and Raka goes after her.

She comes to the same place again but there is no one there. Raka tells her to stop behaving strangely as she does this everytime she gets hurt on the head. Seeta tries to say "Bauji" but Raka thinks she is talking about his father. He says they are going back to Mumbai as his father has kicked him out. Seeta thinks that she can't leave as she has to find her father. She convinces Raka to apologize to his father one more time and his father will forgive him.

Lawyer comes to Seeta's house and tells Dadi and Geeta that Ganesh chaturdi is approaching and Seeta is turning 21. He says her father wanted her to celebrate this birthday at their village in the Ganesh temple that he had built there. Dadi looks at Geeta meaningfully and tells lawyer that only Seeta will do the sthapana there.

Chachi comes to Chacha with the news that Seeta is going to the mandir in the village for her birthday. Chacha says its perfect opportunity to kill her just like her parents. But Ranjit says they'll gain nothing out of it. But Chacha shuts him up and tells them that he has made a fake will according to which after Seeta's death all the property will be theirs.

Raka and Seeta come back to his house and he talks to his father. His father adamant at first but after Seeta explains things to him he softens and forgives Raka. Seeta prays that like this family reunited she too would be able to find her father.
