Devoleena Bhattacharjee replaces Giaa Maanek in Saath Nibhana Saathiya
Today (6 June 2012) early in the evening Tellychakkar.com broke the news of Giaa Maanek being shown the door from Star Plus' show Saath Nibhana Saathiya produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. The water became murky when Giaa went ahead to sign a show on a rival channel, namely Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Now, everyone has been wondering who would replace Giaa Maanek as Gopi bahu in the soap. Well, we have the answer. The new Gopi bahu will be Devoleena Bhattacharjee. Beautiful and petite Devoleena was last seen in Imagine TV's Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto as Baani. She has already starting shooting for the show.
We tried getting in touch with Devoleena but she remained unavailable. With her entry, it will be interesting to see whether the show gets a spike in ratings or slumps down in the TRP ladder.
