Here is what i think may happen or atleast I wish it does ,
After NA convinces Dhruv to attend the Roka function , she is talking to Rayan on the phone barging about how she has blackmailed Preeto to go away from RB for SKA and also how she had brought in differences between Dhruv and Ishu. As she is talking Dhruv reaches her room to tell her he is ready to leave for the Roka. Though shocked at what he has heard , he doesn't ask his mom anything , pretends not to have heard anything , as they drive to the Dhillon house he tries to put two and two together , he realises how Ishu had tried to defend herself but everytime he had only heard whatever his mom said.
They reach the Dhillon house , everyone is excited to see their Son in law, Ishu is also delighted as she had not expected to see Dhruv and NA at the ceremony. She is unaware of how NA has blackmailed Preeto. Dhruv tries to speak to Ishu , he has to apologise to her and also tell her about Preeto sacrificing for them, but she is held up with chores of the roka and cant get some alone time with him.
Just then he sees RB who is rather upset at what Preeto told him earlier in the day " I will not be wearing the chunni today RB , don't ask me the reason , I wont be able to tell you" saying this she had given him the chunni and the Kangan which he had so lovingly given to her.
Dhruv goes to speak to RB , asks him where Preeto is , at which RB says he doesn't know and nor does he want to know . Dhruv realise Preeto must have decided to sacrifice her love for RB so she can save DHRISHU's marriage. He decides he has to speak to Ishu at any cost and has to make sure Preeto wears the chunni today. Finally he manages to speak to Ishu apologise to her and tells her about the conversation he had overheard , Ishu is shocked and at the same time sad that Preeto is sacrificing her Love/ Life of them.
They decide they must bring RB and Preeto together, Dhruv goes to RB's room where he is getting ready, he is gonna wear a simple trouser and shirt when he sees a Pattani kept on the table , asks about it , thats a nice outfit, looks apt for the occassion. RB says oh that , i don't fit into it any more, it doesn't mean anything now"saying this he touches the chunni kept in his bag and is lost in thought , dhruv understands its the same chunni RB had given to Preeto . Dhruv manages to force RB to wear the Pattani.
In Preeto's room , she is getting ready in the green dress with which she was supposed to wear the chunni RB gave her , she is sad as she remembers the look , the sadness , the anger in RB's eyes when she had spoken to him earlier in the day. How happy she had been with the thought of wearing the chunni , telling him how much she loved him, telling him he should now ask papaji for her hand in marriage. But now it may never be , she knew he would always love her and no one else and even she would not be able to give that special place in her heart to anyone else . But she will never be able to accept her love , else her sister's marriage would break , and her entire family would be heart broken. This thought brought her back to reality, Ishu enters Preeto's room asks her if she is ready,beeji is calling her down
The roka ceremony begins everything is going on fine , Sunny trying to woo , Preeto . Preeto trying to avoid him. Bani doing repeated touch ups (make up karna hi to ata hai isse), Pankeeta admiring each other, Pankaj enquiring if Meeta tried the aaloo dish specially made for their roka etc
The entire evening Preeto has been avoiding RB , she cant see him heart broken. RB also wants to be alone for sometime , he doesn't know how he can convince Preeto , she was very happy just the previous day and today she says she cant come into his life , he doesn't understand why she is doing this ( spend more time with SKA this is what happens , you don't understand anything).
Rajbeer and Preeto come across each other near the kitchen. NA sees RB is upset so is Preeto and have been avoiding the gathering and each other , she is happy she has been successful in her plan Preeto didn't wear RB's chunni , now her daughter will be happy. She can handle Ishu any day as Dhruv is always gonna belive is mom ... thinking this she is smiling when Ishu comes up behind Preeto and puts the red dupaata on her head, tells her you don't have to do this for us Preeto , you have already done enough. Dhruv got to know about mummy ji's plan and now there is no problem between us , don't worry. Babaji has decided that you and RB have to be together then what can a person like mummyji do . Dhruv joins them and tells RB about what had happened and why Preeto had decided against wearing the dupatta . He hands RB the box containing the kangan, says " Yeh Kangan bhi humen hi pehnane padenge ya tum khudh bhi kuch karoge" ... RB takes it from Dhruv and puts it in Preetos hands .
RB asks Preeto " tumne muj se kaha kyon nahi Preeto kya tumhe hamare pyaar pe bharosa nahi tha " Preeto repiles " khud se bhi zyada " , " aap ke pyaar ke bharose hi tho mein ye faisla kiya , mein jaanthi hun , is dil mein ( showing RB heart) ek hi tasveer hai, aur woh..."she stops half way and looks away to avoid RB's naughty smile , and eyes which always look thru her ...RB asks " aur woh kaun hai Preeto ?" ... She smiles and moves away into the gathering of people , RB smiles to himself, they both know the answer (So do we )
NA is angered and infurated by the guts Ishu had to go against her threat, she is also frustrated that Dhruv is no longer her puppet , Dhruv comes near his mom and says mom I didn't expect this from you , if I hadn't heard your conversation with Dad, I would never have got to know about your intentions. Mom you cant force someone to love , but I don't think you will ever understand that coz for you it is the status , and money that matter the most. Why do you forget we were also from a middle class family first.
Mom I will be taking a transfer , from here so you will not need to see your Middle class Daughter in law and her husband .
PS : the last line is so we can have DHRISU in another town and Rajpreet going there to help them settle down ... some more rajpreet moments ... any takers to take the story ahead from here
If they are gonna do EA in the show then we will have only our OS /FF/SS to rely on till the CV's decide to bring the show back on track ...
