As we're coming to the end of the show and we've now seen how both Veer and RK fell in love with Damyanti/Savitri, lets define Veer and RKs love for Damyanti. Is it love or lust?

In the past some said RK truly loved Damyanti. But did he really?
If we look back to how he fell in love with her each time its because by just seeing her face.
The first time RK saw Damu and fell in love with her.
The second time he saw Savitri and fell in love with her because she looked like Damyanti, well she is Damyanti.
The third time also he fell in love with her by seeing her face.
All three have/had different personalites and characteristics.
First Damyanti was more disciplined, brave and mature.
Savitri was soft, loving and gentle.
The present Damyanti, spoilt, brave, more fun and you could say a rebel within her limits.
So who did RK really love, the person or the face?

We've alos seen Veers love for Damyanti/Savitri.
The first time Veer fell in love with Damyanti by most likely knowing her well as they grew up together.
Satya fell in love with Savitri by seeing her for the first time but he felt a connection with her.
The present Veer fell in love with Savitri by getting to know her as a person. For Damyanti he had respect and understood her better than even her parents without even seeing her face. The only reason he's staying away from her now is because he thinks its wrong for a soldier to fall in love with a princess.

RK is not only being possessive and obsessive but also violent with her. He wants to stake a claim on Damyanti especially in front of Veer.
If you really love someone do you hold them at knifepoint?

In my opinion, i stand at my previous points, Veer/Satya truly love Damyanti/Savitri whilst for RK its only lust.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WID U FIZ.

i dont know about satyas luv for savitri.

veer fall in luv wid savitri by knowing her personally.it was not a luv at first sight.her he loved her d way she is.it doesnt matter in which avtar she comes.yeah den his status didnt allow him to express his luv for damu.he felt like betraying his maharaj his master whom he respect d most.veer respect damu also.den d oath he took never to even look at damus face also prevent him expressing his love.but these factors did not prevent him from loving her just didnt express in public.he still love her and will always.

den RK dono know about him before d show revamped.after revamp rk fall in luv just seeing her first time luv at first sight.personally i dont believe in love at first sight.may her beauty her bubbliness her bravery smtms may b parasmony her wealth n all attracted him.smtmes his love can b defined as lust.den greed.and combined wid hatred n jealousy against veer.he want her by crook n by hook.how can we hurt a person whom we say we love dem so dearly.

for me veer is real lover n love of rk is mere lust or greed his madness or obsession.

Anju ... Satyas love for Savitri was pure, unconditional. Their love for each other was sweet and romantic. They had really nice scenes.

As for RK before the revamp, well all he wanted to do was touch Savitri. And he also kept on telling her about it too. The only thing that stopped him was he would be destroyed if he touched Savitri without her own will. Even the evil shaktis warned him about that. And Savitri did destroy his loaned body twice.
As for Satya, in the beginning when he couldnt touch Savitri, he kept his distance and made sure she was comfortable and at ease. He didnt push her for anything or make her feel guilty.
Even now Veer still respects Damyanti and cares for her.

I agree RK is greedy amongst all the other things too. And only thinks of himself. Damu just said yes to marriage and he's already possessive. What will he be like if they were to ever get married, which they wont.

It would be nice to hear Veer call Damyanti by her name rather than raajkumari at least once before the show ends tomorrow.

U r right fiz.me too really want to hear veer calling damyanti once instead of rajkumariji before the show ends.hope we got to hear it.and i also want to see veer in prince attire.

Yeah it will be change to see Veer in a different attire. With his wedding coming up, we will.

One thing i like about RK is the way he shouts DAMYANTI when he gets angry with her.

fiz today we will get rks last shout.and i think veer is calling damyanti in precap and also veer in prince attire.all our wishes will b granted.

I did not watch the show from the beginning..

I started watching it after Ashish's (new Veer) entry in the show..

And I never noticed any hint of love from Rahukal for Damayanti, he just wanted her..

And Veer's love is always pure...

He loved Damyanti beyond limits without crossing any limit (he tried to hide his affection only because she was the Princess) and I like Veer as person also as lover..

Person's like these are honest, they love a person for their nature and true nature and that's what Veer does to damayanti..

And I think that is why Princess Damayanti fell more and more for Veer..

she loved his honesty, truthfulness, down to earth nature.. and of course because he was Veer and Veer loved Savitri because he saw his own reflection in her eyes..

Later when he came to know she is the Princess he was angry, hurt felt cheated but when he noticed that his reflection is still there in the princess's eyes, he could not hold himself from loving the Princess Damayanti also..

True love is just like this 😊

Then RK will be killed by Damyanti again. I'm sure Veer calls Damu Savitri. Even in yesterdays epi Damu said to Veer "your Savitri" when he was fighting RK. To Veer Damyanti will always be Savitri 😳
I guess its the name of the show thats why.

Payal ... very well analysed and written.

In the first episode after the revamp thats how Damu described her life partner to be as you said. He didnt have to be a prince or rich.
She was describing Satyas nature which are obviously there in Veer.

Even if RK loved Savitri before the revamp it was because she was Damyanti. But it was obsessive and possessive. He wanted her but what angered him the most was Savitri always chose Veer and fell in love with him. If there was more time or the CVs had brought it out earlier it could have been a great story, RK wanting Veer out of the way. And i guess he's going to do the same in the last epi. Without Veer, Damyanti would kill herself again.
