I won't write off Damyanti just yet...she is acting spoiled and rude but that is just a reaction to being shown that the Universe doesn't revolve around her, that there are people who can control her and people who are superior to her in skills she take so much pride in. But this is just a temporary phase. Sooner or later something will happen which will make her the responsible Royal everyone wants her to be. I don't think there's anything wrong in being egoistic if you are born in the luxury that Damyanti is born in :P

I have a feeling that this Damyanti will change the characteristics of Savitri as well :P I haven't seen the first Savitri to know her but her pre-marriage image might be a bit more like this Damyanti - carefree and a mast phataka :D

Spicy ... The Savitri before her marriage to Satya was not like this Damyanti. Savitri was an orphan, just like Veer is now. She was responsible, mature and shy. She later became strong and tough and had the guts to stand up to RK.

yeah but Fiz, the Damyanti preceding that Savitri was also different na. I've read that she was too mature and like a typical Royal who knew all her duties and followed them. If not 100% like her past avatar, Savitri had a few qualities of Damyanti. I'm just saying since Damyanti's character has changed a little...maybe Savitri will also undergo that change when the story shifts to present. Of course, eventually both Damyanti and Savitri would have to change to carry out their destiny but those starting wala days might be a bit different...?

I guess in the earlier story and characters were more inspired by the folk tale of Savitri and Satyavan where Savitri was a mature responsible women. With the revamp they are not only trying to make the story different but also the characters. I don't think Veer's/Satya's character was developed properly in the previous part of the show that why the negative lead was appreciated more :P

there is a Savitri/Satyavan folk tale?! :O

Waise true haan...this time they are developing Veer amazingly! And I'm all eyes for him Though when my bro saw RK yesterday he was all, "This one is better! Why are you rooting for that Veer guy?" and I was all, "MERE ASHU KO KUCH MAT KEH!!"

🤣

Ya Savitri Satyavan is a very old tale about how a women called Savitri gets her husband back from Yamraj😛 So it would be absurd to show her walking off with the devil incarnation

I don't like RK from what I saw so far in the show kya baat baat mein ladki ka gaala pakar leta hai😕Our Ashu/Veer is much hotter😳

There are many customs associated with this story in some parts of the country married women even keep a Vrat called Savitri Vrat for their husbands😳The only interesting scenes after the revamp are the ones with Veer😛 (or maybe I m biased😆)
