yeah but Fiz, the Damyanti preceding that Savitri was also different na. I've read that she was too mature and like a typical Royal who knew all her duties and followed them. If not 100% like her past avatar, Savitri had a few qualities of Damyanti. I'm just saying since Damyanti's character has changed a little...maybe Savitri will also undergo that change when the story shifts to present. Of course, eventually both Damyanti and Savitri would have to change to carry out their destiny but those starting wala days might be a bit different...?

I think that the characters have changed in many ways though the names remain same.Like Damyanti was first shown as a matured and serious young lady and Savitri was shown as a girl who is soft spoken yet strong though later Savitri her traits with the first Damyanti.However we must see that this Damyanti is different from the original Damyanti and Savitri.She is not too matured like the original Damu neither has she experienced the life which Savitri had.We all know that Savitri never had a normal childhood like others whereas the first Damu's childhood was spent in training at the gurukul.Unlike the first Damu and Savitri,this Damu was exposed to the outside world neither she had too many responsibilities on her shoulders.She had a perfect childhood.Enjoying with friends and learning new things.She was pampered by her parents.She got everything that she asked for.So,obviousle she would be different from Savitri.Veer had developed in everything from character to personality to looks.Personally,I never liked Yash as Veer even though he was good as Satya.I felt that somehow Veer had to be a little bit aggresive and passionate.After all,he is a romantic hero.Ashu is perfect for this.And RK.He has not changed much apart from looks.
