todays episode made my blood boil

Todays episode on the woman who was abused and sold by her alcholic husband made my blood boil .. I mean I cant believe that the panchayat wanted the girl to continue being married to that man... makes you realise how fortunate we are that we live in a civilised world where we can make our own choices - we can marry who we want and if things dont work out ... we can walk out of the marraige and our family will still support us .. thank god for that ...
