Satyamev Jayate 2 to go on air from March 2 on Star Plus

Aamir Khan, whose magical fireworks are yet to subside on box office, post his success with Dhoom 3', is once again in the news making waves. However, this time it isn't for any film, but for a set of national level issues.

In 2012, he debuted on silver screen, registering his presence, with this unique set of nationwide issues, which was formatted and called Satyamev Jayate', making him suddenly the most important and at the same time the biggest friend of every common man.

To register the same kind of response and to once again take up issues of national interest, Aamir will once again be seen from March 2nd onwards in every household. Yes, Satyamev Jayate' is all set to bring its second season in a completely new format in 2014.

While not much has been talked, especially in terms of the issues it will discuss on-screen, yet the makers have spread that the special Sunday episodes will be divided in three parts, where each part will span for sour Sundays, taking up unique topics, that are of interest to the nation's common man.

The program created great furor, when it made its presence felt with issues like female foeticide, child sexual abuse, pesticide poisoning, dowry, medical malpractice, honor killings, domestic violence, physical disability, alcoholism, untouchability, plight of senior citizens and water crisis.

It will be interesting to know what other social issues, barring the previous ones, the actor will rise.

The show is once again expected to create overwhelming positive response from every genre of people, including political, social activists and not to mention, our aam aadmi'. Post the success of Aam Aadmi' in elections, the makers, we believe, are doing a great way of sustaining that interest of a common man and making him aware of their surroundings and their rights in a right way.

The promos are showcasing the rights and powers of a law abiding common man already in their small way.

In fact, Aamir is not just choosing his platform for promoting social issues, but was also seen promoting his friend's movie Jai Ho'. You can watch the promo, where the actor at the end says Jai Ho' quite casually, instigating a smile somewhere in the back ground. After all, he went all the way to Twitter and Facebook to promote his friend's movie, so promoting the film through his show's promo, isn't surprising!

Well, we do not know how much he actually contributed in the success of the film through promotions, but his own show promos are creating a strong audience. To watch the promos, log on to YouTube and also hang on to the first episode, which is all set to on air on 2nd March, which is a Sunday, at 11 a.m. The show, once again is slated to air on Star Plus!
