Haldi celebrations are going on in Aarushi's house. Girish is getting annoyed with all the work. Mother India remembers that she has forgotten to buy something, and she asks Aarushi to go to the market. The other women remind her that Aarushi is the bride and shouldn't be given any work. Mother India gets emotional and says that she is very used to depending on Aarushi and wonders how she will manage after Aarushi leaves. Aarushi goes up to her and says she will continue to help Mother India in whatever way she can even after marriage. They both become emotional.
Aarushi goes to her room and picks up her phone. Vihaan's pic is the background of her mobile. She smiles and kisses it. And instantly his call comes on her phone. She is pleasantly surprised. They talk for a while. She talks to him about giving her whole salary to her family, and he completely understands and says it is their shared responsbility. She tells him he must never give money to her father and brother as they cannot be trusted at all. Vihaan feels guilty and tells her he will not give them money from today.
The haldi ceremony begins in Aarushi's house. Everyone applies haldi on her face, and she remembers VIhaan saying that he wished he could also see her during the ceremony. She dreams that he has arrived and a romantic sequence follows. It is broken by the annoying voice of her Bua (who seems incapable of talking in a normal, calm fashion. Each word is a shriek 🥱) She raises the subject of Aarushi's engagement with Gattu and her kidnapping and does her best to humiliate Aarushi. Aarushi tells Bua that if she knows all this then she must also be aware that the person responsible for the whole terrible phase was her brother - Prahlad. Bua gets upset and shrieks some more nonsense. Aarushi gives her a very fitting reply👏 and asks her if she has come to participate in the wedding or create trouble. Bua eventually stops screeching and goes in search of her beloved brother and nephew.
Manohar comes to their house and Rosy dances with him 😆 Aarushi saves the bramachari and enquires about the reason for his visit. He gives a hilarious reply and goes off to help in the wedding preparations. Aarushi realises VIhaan has sent him. She calls up Vihaan. He tells her to imagine that Manohar is her other brother who has come home to help. He says he wants her to enjoy the celebrations and he sent Manohar since he knows Girish and Prahlad are useless. She is touched by his love and concern.
Vihaan's house - Haldi ceremony is about to start. Vihaan overhears Bua maa bragging to a guest that ultimately all seven mothers approved of a single girl and they made sure he had an arranged marriage. He feels guilty. Tai maa is coming with the Haldi ki thaali. It falls from her hands.
Precap - Daadi goes ballistic and says the marriage will not happen. Everyone is shocked.
