Kavita Rathod is being touted as the latest woman in Rajora's life

At Sandeep Rajora's birthday bash on Friday, besides the telly folk on his guest list, the presence of actress Kavita Rathod was the cynosure of all eyes. Party-hearty Kavita was all over the place during the cake-cutting, and even smeared the birthday boy's face with the icing.
Sandeep has been spotted with Kavita at various film screenings and on the party circuit. Kavita, who has featured in TV serials like Sanjeevani, Saathiya and Koh-i-noor, is now seen on the floorboards in Darrshan Jarriwala's play Your Place or Mine?
Sandeep, who plays the character of Siddharth in the SaharaOne show Sati, says, "Kavita is a good friend and we hang out together often. She is a buddy, nothing more."
In the past, there had been a lot of buzz about Sandeep and actress Koena Mitra (both participated in the Gladrags Model hunt; Koena was also a Gladrags winner), and later with Kulraj Randhawa when he featured in the Zee daily Kareena Kareena with her. "We were just good friends," maintains Sandeep, who was also linked with actress Kavita Kaushik. It seems the 'K' factor has dominated where the women in his life are concerned!
Sandeep and Kavita acted together in Kuch Love Kuch Masti, which aired on SaharaOne. "I have known Kavita ever since," says Sandeep.
After Sarrkkar, in which he played the character of Sudhanshu, Sandeep was seen in the Sony show Fear Factor, in which he bagged the prize booty of Rs 10 lakh.
"I am only doing Sati now, but am exploring the possibility of doing more shows. There are things happening on that front and I can talk about it only at the right time," he says. Though Sandeep has worked in Balaji shows like Kkusum (as Siddharth) and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (as Neeraj), he has not been a part of Balaji shows after that. "I am looking at new acting opportunities," he adds.
Kavita says, "As we are in the same line of work, we get invited to the same events so we hang out together. People usually hang out with likeminded people. Sandeep is just a good friend, that's it."
Kavita began acting with Gujarati theatre. "I have featured in plays of Kanti Madia as well as in Manoj Joshi's Chanakya. Later, for a while, I was an airhostess with Air India. After flying for two years, I quit to get back to acting." She is now looking at more television assignments.
