That she was not responsible for the tragedy that crept in. And then you leave her all alone, fighting and struggling in a world, where her screams fall on deaf ears. And yet she emerges as winner on her own….Sati.
Experience her struggle, her resistance, her toil and her victory. SaharaOne Television invites you for an encounter with Sati…Satya Ki Shakti its new offering. Premires from Monday May 29, at 8 pm. Every Monday to Friday convene through the different phases of a women's life. Played by Manasi Salvi SATI is a happy go lucky third year law student at a stage where colors, fun and dreams make up the fabric of life. But one tragic turn, one act of rage…she is raped by the people she thought were her friends. The culprits walk free through a shameless miscarriage of justice helped by hostile witnesses. Sati's dreams tear apart, diffusing a colourful life & bringing out shades of black and darkness all around, her own family too distances themselves from her.
Here is where any other women's life would cease to exist. But Sati strives to fight back. Fight for justice and truth, for self -respect and dignity. Sati survives her ordeal, regains her health, completes her law education while recuperating emotionally and physically, and finally fights her own case. She decides to give the society, which had outraged her identity and her beauty, a taste of her brains.
And wins. Her rapists are imprisoned so are the conspirators. She becomes a role model giving other women confidence and courage to fight for their cause. Realizing this fact with the support of other motivated women she establishes "Swayam", an all women law firm to voice the unheard stories pleading justice at the door of law. It symbolizes struggle, victory and power, similar to what her dark stages exemplified in her life. Thus Sati always covers herself in black. It is this black from which she draws her strength to keep moving on and touching that extra mile to uncover the truth.
With honesty in her heart, satisfaction in her mind Sati has everything that she ever hoped for. Except for the presence of her loved ones. This vacuum in her life leads to different turns and twists. These clearly reflect in her decisions and at different junctures of Sati's journey. .
